Komos manages to get on the bed out of the range of the ghosts but not before he gets drained by one of them. Perhaps frustrated that he is out of reach now, the Ghosts fling random objects at him, though the Kobold manages to shield himself from the barrage. Skarro meanwhile holds up the defense against the giant's axe well enough. He blocks the hits with his shield. Beams of fire fly past him and strike the giant, singing hot holes into the cloak.
Timat is also struggling against the ghosts but she keeps up her spell and summons a massive spectral mace behind the giant and slams it into the cloaked figure. The ghosts continue to fly, harming those that they can reach.
Skarro shrieks in a frenzy of anger and rage when he sees Tiamat being attacked by the strange creature. He redoubles his efforts, striking furiously with his staff, but continues to block the doorway, "Stay back G--- Everyone. Skarro will defeat ghost-thing in cloak!"
He makes two rapid attacks, then reverses his staff for a third, rage fueling his attacks but his anger ultimately unbalancing his final strike.
(Already rolled with advantage. That 14 was a 2 and 4, unfortunately.
Also, forgot to roll concentration. Oops. DC is 10 both times, and Varn rolled... 7 and 12. So he'll use a reaction and a charge of Mind Sharpener to succeed the save instead, so nothing changed with Skarro's attacks.
Then, the Wisdom save: 16, so only 6 damage.
Lastly, I imagine the giant is dead following Skarro's turn, so are the ghosts still around, or is combat over?)
After a short hesitation, Varn backs away to stand on the bed by Komos. A bunch of random stuff thrown at him seemed less dangerous than whatever it is the ghosts do to those nearby. However, he tries not to stick too close to the window. The last thing he'd want is to fall through.
Then, Varn decides that as badly hurt as the giant looks, it would be best not to tire himself too much anymore, and instead case a simple spell, his trusted Mind Sliver. He sends a disorienting spike into the mind of the giant, and who knows? Maybe he's weak enough to die to that.
Giant must succeed on a DC 17 Intelligence save or take 8 points of Psychic damage and have a -4 penalty to their next saving throw.
(( @DM: Just checking: We are still on the same/last turn and now waiting on Komos to adjust his roll for last turn and do something this turn, right? ))
The party manages to take down the giant with their combined attacks. While Komos is the one to put the final blow on the giant with a fiery attack, the giant still seems to freeze into a statue of ice before shattering. The ghosts fade away.
In the cold and melting ice, is 4 coins.
Now the party also has a moment to count the coins they found from the safe.
Dark energies collect around the giant's fallen shards and then seem to flow into Skarro. He nods in satisfaction, baring his teeth and swirling his staff a few times in the air. Finally he turns to his companions.
"OK. Skarro not kill giant. Komos does. And Komos healed Skarro. But Skarro blocked door!"
Nodding in satisfaction he puffs out his (much-expanded) chest, then draws a deep breath, "We make good team. We Giant-Killers!"
He then turns to Varn, frowning. "Will Skarro be normal again? Kobolds not giants, and Skarro is Kobold."
Eventually, if noone else does so in the mean time, Skarro's attention will move to the coins on the floor and the coins in the safe...
(( Skarro gains 5 HP as the giant dies from Hexblade's Curse ))
"One moment!" Varn drops his concentration on the spell, and Skarro soon shrinks back to normal. "Now, coins?" Varn turns to continue what he started, to count the coins.
"Twenty! That's a lot!" Varn exclaims. "I always knew your skills were extraordinary, Komos!" Then, turning to Tiamat, he asks: "Oh, uh, Glory, can you remind me what we can get with this many?"
(So in total, 24 from this fight+safe. We could split it 8x3, but depending on the price, perhaps we can use it to upgrade Tiamat's shop? I remember that being an option, and it might prove more useful. Even if it costs a little more, we should each already have some left from before. Varn seems to have 15, not counting any of this recent find (unless DM added).)
((No, I didn't add any coins to any one's sheet yet. Yes you got 24 coins from the safe + the fight))
Here's a repost of Tiamat shop's listings:

Skarro nods, "More powerful is good, but Skarro still needs one item. Item will take ten coins and then he will have one spare." He looks guiltily toward Tiamat, but nods his head to emphasise his resolve. "But these..." he points to the new coins, "...these should go to...to Glorificus. She needs them."
He turns to Tiamat, wondering how she will respond and if that suits her preferences.
After pooling their coins together 50 is spent to give Tiamat a power up.
Tiamat eats the 50 coins. There is no noticeable change in her dragonborn form other than her wounds healing and her looking a lot more rested. She assures, "Thank you. I am now as strong as the avatar I have taken in the past when my followers had summoned me. I still need to stay in this humanoid form to avoid detection so you may not notice any significant changes. However I do assure you that I'm stronger now. Sadly, I am still not strong enough to win in a direct confrontation with an avatar of The Golden Emperor."
Tiamat now has the CR30 monster statblock when not in the humanoid form. This looks like a 5 headed adult dragon. There is one more powerup she can receive to be truly at full power.

Skarro hits the cloaked giant twice for huge damage but it still stands. The ghosts continue to attack the party.
