(It wasn't giving you proficiency, though you are definately proficient with it. I've added a custom attack to your sheet and hidden the original boomerang, but the custom attack appears further down the sheet.)

(There is only one Finesse Ranged Weapon (Dart) Finesse lets you apply your strength to that ranged weapon. Unlike a Dagger which is a Finesse Melee Weapon that can be Thrown using your dex. The difference is super important.)

(I also want to take a moment to recognize the series of unfortunate happenings that lead to this.  First, I missed an attack that would have killed Zumric by 1.  Then, I rolled a freaking 6 on my Intimidation check, which gave Zumric advantage, which allowed him to hit me when he wouldn't have been able to otherwise.)
