The battlefield is transformed. The Arena shapers move through the field casting spells both powerful and mundane growing plants, shaping the field and filling a flowing river with water. Tall trees, dense foliage, and rickety old bridges remain in their wake. They create the scene of an untamed bog. The river is 15 feet deep. The bushes are difficult to pass through and give a bonus 2 AC against attacks made through them, as well as heavily obscuring anything beyond.

Lawrence rushes over to N5, vaulting over the barrier. "Won't wait long at all!" With that, a lick of fire appears in his hand (Produce Flame) and launches it toward Rothander. To hit: 7 damage: 12

Marmaduke enters the arena in the same drab out as before and winded (again), examining a black iron bar in hand. "Okay, sooo, how does this.... So, I just focus, and--" The bar glows white hot for a second, and then a mist pours out of it. Before she can get another word in edge wise, it jumps into her gaping mouth, leaving her eyes glowing dully. Imbued by False Life, she has to take a second to gather herself.
"Wow... Unreal. My Gosh! This is amazing! I feel incredible! Yes! Yes! Yes! No! Focus, ya idjit." With that, she'll bury the bar back in her bag, do her dance for Expeditious Retreat, take a deep breath to recover some of her magic, and then finally whip out two daggers.
"I can win." She adds softly, blatantly ignoring any odd looks as best she could.
Eider will grab the Cape of the Mountebank.
