(It's homebrew.  Basically, if you don't use your action and you fail, you could get a penalty.  I believe if you do use your action, you get no penalty?  Could be wrong on that one.)

Talmich slashes Crow with his piercing weapon, as he taunts the man's name. Crow's heard it all before (Effect: 6, Crow has an advantage.)

Crow gathers his strength, he's managed to keep an incredible reserve of energy to unleash this late in the fight. He strikes twice with spirit. The second blow cuts through Talmich's armor, but he still stands.

Morthos tends to Crowcs wounds as best he can in a pinch.
