A rookie glassblade Elf stands guard to Urgon Wenth's one-story cabin. Elro nods to her and says, "It's all right Mila. They are here to help investigate what is going on".
Mila opens the door to let you all pass inside. This cramped, dark cabin might have been a cozy place when its owner was alive. Now an unmade bed stands near a cold fireplace, its mantle hung with the head of some snarling white beast with gray horns. On the other side of the room, a small table strewn with dirty dishes and set with a dwarf-sized chair stands before two empty shelves whose contents are scattered across the floor: kitchen utensils, dried foodstuffs, adventuring gear, and a few books.
As Calos looks through the books, none of the titles seem to be of any interest. A couple of romance books, some basic survival books, and a book on the history of Eiselcross. In one of the romance books a slip of paper was folded in half and used as a bookmark. Calos unfolds it to see that it is a receipt dated two months previous, and indicates that Urgon sold several Aeorian items found in Eiselcross to the local antique shop Pelc’s Curiosities for 1,000 gp. The items are listed as a dagger, a scroll case, a jade statuette, a quiver of twenty arrows, a silver ring set with a jasper, and two blue glass vials.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lia steps inside the first building and starts to investigate the scene. ((I’ll assume someone is performing the help action, for advantage. But feel free to use the first roll if that doesn’t apply))...
Investigation check: 22((this includes the 2d4))
((I’m not sure what the other dice roller is. Let me know where to find it and I can try and roll there in the future))
"Hey, look at this." Calos calls to the others, showing them the receipt he had found. "This is from around the time that Urgon got back from Eiselcross. Maybe the shop's worth looking into?"

Lia begins to look through the mess on the floor. Soot from the long-dead fire appears to form footprints of a female dwarf heading out the window in the direction of the cabin just over the hill. It seems that Tulgi Lutan is the culprit who ransacked the home looking for more information on her illness.
Lia leans over to Calos saying, “Hmm, interesting”, in relation to the receipt. She then points out the footprints to everyone, “And look here... Footprints leading towards the house of the next person to come down with the same illness”...
Kathrine also walks inside, looking over the place with the others. She pays attention to the strange head over the mantel in particular. Rolls in dice log, 21 for investigation, 19 for perception.)

Rolled nature in dice log. Nat 1, plus 1 plus 3 makes 5. 3 was from emboldening bond, but not going to help much. lol.
While inspecting the head Kathrine does not notice anything strange about the head, nor can she place what kind of beast it is, but does notice the fine taxidermy work.
"Shall we head out, and see about this other cottage, or where that shop is that the receit is for?" Kathrine asks as she shrugs off the strange head mounted over the mantel.
"Mm. Noticing and searching for things, not really my forte. Not to say I won't help, I guess. And I'll pass on the, uh, bond thing."
Calos will grand advantage to whoever's making the perception check.
Kathrine uses emboldening bond on herself and Lia. "Are we ready to go inside then?" She asks the others.

What do you do?
Calos takes a look at the books, seeing if any detail topics that might be of interest to their investigation.
Make an investigation check

"could we see this person who has the same curse?"
I am an average mathematics enjoyer.

"Where is that shop, actually?"
Calos returns to the guard outside.
"Hey, know a shop by the name of Pelc's Curiosities?"
Mila Points to a hut and says "Pelc's Curiosities is just past that hut. There is even a little sign just outside with the name on it."
