Kia immediately shouts loudly, “Strahd! We have your brother’s blade, we have your prisoner, and we have violated your parents tomb! We are coming for you and your brother’s true love!”

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Ashen Chanterell startles at Kia shouting, and slowly gets up, and starts flopping down the corridor towards the catacombs. Apparently, she has no interest in joining you. Bor's image in the painting is not moving, and the nameplate below the painting is now blank.
The groaning of the Castle seems alive as you stare and consider your condition.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grishkar examines the painting closer (can I get any additional information? Age, power, conditions? Arcana 11). "Bors, can you hear us? Nod if so." Grishkar will proceed with any communication method he can think of: writing, signing, etc., anything excrpt touching the painting.
While trying to communicate, Grishkar turns over his shoulder to Briella, "Stupid girl. My servants are not fodder for your whimsical notions. If you want a sacrifice, start with her," Grishkar nods to the freed captive, "Either open her throat and I will put her back in her hole, or YOU will acquire six bodies from the catacombs we so ignorantly neglected before."

Bors cannot hear you. You have never seen a painting like this before, with such an unual property to it. In fact, you have no idea where this "prison" might be, as some things you see in there defy physics and reality - like the "artists" rendition of Bors.

With a sigh, Grishkar nods to a minion. The shambling figure drags Ashen's body by the ankle across the room and touches rhe painting with her foot. "What a waste, natural deaths are so anti-climatic."
(Maybe next time I'll have Grishkar's zombies act with more literal, macabre comedy. "Go put that girl's foot on the painting." and the zombie tried to take off just the foot)

"Alright I have 2 spell prepared that might be able to help. I can attempt to dispel magic and hope that will force him out of the painting. Or I could attempt to remove curse the problem being is that I don't know if its truly cursed."
OOC: You work one little afternoon and everyone gets trapped in paintings!
Martha thinks for a moment, and looks around for a sizable rock. About the size that one could throw.
(Prediction: Rock goes in, beans Bors. Distorted images of us start laughing at him. Real Grishkar is actually laughing.)

OOC: DOH! Hopefully Ashen is good with a blade...
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

"Grishkar get one of you're zombies to touch the painting."

No, Bri. Unfortunately, nothing.

Due to her injuries and neglect in the painting, Ashen has died. She slumps to the floor some 20 feet away and doesn't move again.

OOC:does it do anything crispy? Also isn't Strahd like hundreds of years old. I doubt those bodies would be of any use now.
Nothing happens. And yes, Strahd is hundreds of years old. Very old.

Haha. I'm surprised Bors isn't all over this. =P
