The Maze of the Medusa claims another soul.

OOC: Aghghghghg!!!  Time to use our newly acquired crystal tear? And send our entire team back in time just a bit, resetting our two recent losses?  We’d then know how to successfully pass through all the recent rooms!  Plus, we could get Bors and Grish back (which we’ll definitely need for the upcoming Strahd fight). 

OOC: Does it send us back or undo an event? With the event, we can just undo him ever stepping out in the first place, this restoring him completely 

I believe the tear only can only undo an event in one persons life. I'd suggest either when we were at the painting that Bors got trapped in and preventing him from touching it in the first place( we'd get back both Grishkar, his zombies,and Esmeralda.Or the dinner scene where Kia slapped Irene and Strahd took her. This all depends on how the tear works though. As with such large changes we may never have come to this maze in the first place. Crispy we got trapped down here because the crypt doors closed on us right? Maybe we could stop that instead,but again it all depends on how exactly the tear works)

Also someone needs to tell Strahd he needs a better interior decorator. And to fight me. Briella at this point is ready to 1v1 Strahd (even if she loses.)

OOC: Yes, but undoing an event too far back could have serious problems. Grishkar could’ve pushed us all into the decay so that we all die. Strahd could’ve taken Ireena regardlesss and we’d lose the sword (my swords! No takeses!). If we can fix Bors it should just be simple as, “I undo the event where I lost my friend Bors. I wish he never stepped out into The Room in the first place.” And then poof! Bors should be fixed. And won’t try to kill us. Maybe. Better than Grishkar.

Fun Fact: The Tear of Chronia will alter ONE event of the person who DRINKS it.

OOC > I don’t know what we should do, game wise. I’m with Shy, I think it was for one event in one person’s life. I also think that person had to use the tears? So Bors would have to use it? He’s not dead, just insane. 

Kia pops her eyes open and stands, coming to the edge of the room. She looks out on the still figure of Bors. “We should retrieve him,” she says. 

OOC > Crispy, was Stillness of Mind not an appropriate solution to this puzzle? I thought it was, but if not, I won’t try to use it again to retrieve Bors. 

OOC: Right, one event of the person who drinks it. Would losing a friend be counted as an event? Like “If that friend hadn’t step out there, that bus wouldn’t have hit him”

There would then still be the problem of getting Bors across the room. He hasa negative Dex modifier. 

I'll allow Stillness of Mind. Not entirely sure what it does, though, so you'd have to remind me.

Due to the complexity of this part of the game, which is near the end, unless someone thinks of something REALLY REALLY REALLY clever, which is possible, Bors is out. An insane character cannot function. Even if you could retrieve Bors, you risk losing yourself, and it will be difficult to carry around a man who is constantly screaming, mind broken.
