OOC: Oh, unless are you saying that he's already tied up? Cause what I was saying was that Martha was currently arguing with Grish and was going to allow the rest of the party decide what to do. Martha was just making sure to veto torture by occupying Grish
As if on cue, Bors grabs the werewolf by the front of his shirt, smacks him hard across the face, points at the torches and says "you were sleeping on duty! who is that approaching the cave?" intimidation: 14
Martha drops the necromancer’s hand as she hears that. “Maybe we should knock him out again and get him out of the way. Or do you guys think that we should just make a break for it and try to get the thing before they get here?”

"I say kill him and stand the two corpses up in the cave while we prepare an ambush for Kiril." Then with a meaningful glance to the werewolf: "Unless you have a reason why we shouldn't"
"I can run for the tome," Kia says as she approaches the group around the werewolf, "But I do not expect we can get it and get back out before they arrive. We may need a distraction, or a trap. I think a trap would be best. Secrecy is needed, and plans have changed," and she neatly slices the throat of the werewolf with her claws, surprising everyone (and the werewolf, before he can call out). "Fan out into the bushes here with bows, Grishkar make your poor souls play dead here in the opening, if we must retreat, do not do so into the cave."
She waits to see what others say or do. If this plan is a go, Kia will slide into the bushes and hide, but within her 30' range. She seems very calm.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Martha’s jaw drops slightly, “I- What!? She is beginning to worry me more than he is...” She says with a point to Grishkar. And then dashes to follow Kia. (If stealth is needed, 19)
Bors gives the tabaxi an appraising look. it's good to know this one will do what must be done. Bors looks to Grishkar: "it's a good plan. Puppetmaster, pull your strings. I don't hide well but if you do well enough they won't think to look for us. Let hit them from the sides as they approach the cave, take out this group then head in after the tome. We'll be unlikely to gain surprise again after this fight so be prepared for reinforcements from the cave."
"I fear we may need all the help we can get." Briella pulls out the last ball from her bag and tosses it. Then she and the animals retreat into the woods to hide.
Odmun was about to engage the werewolf in a series of well thought out, multilayered questions meant to lead the creature into a trap. A trap that would inevitably extract the information they needed. It would have been quite the smart performance. A beautiful stroke of genius, really, but then Kia slit it's throat. "Where is th-" Odmun just sighed, slumping his shoulders. "Well, I guess we're doing it this way now..." Odmun will prepare his hand crossbow and slink into the brush opposite of Kia.
"What do you propose? Make it some tea and ask it nicely? The only difference between torture and interrogation is that one asks questions for it's purpose. We do what must be done or we will the thing. I won't be ambushed by a threat we already know about."
[With the approaching threat]
Grishkar orders his minions to spread out and lay down at the cave mouth. He considers for a moment the possibility of an ambush using more Dragon's Breath, but thinks against it since it would likely fade before first contact. He sets his raven on top of the middle-most zombie to better assess the enemy before attacking.

You started outside with your comrades, they went to go hide in the bushes, you decided to go in for the Tome. As you pass the dead bodies of the outside guards, you continue in and as you look upon two dead bodies of Aviana and Davanka, you pass the area and come upon a deeper section of the cave. This particular area has bones strewn everywhere around it. It's going to require another stealth check to get past. It's like the werewolves laid down a trap to detect intruders. It's dim, but there are torches everywhere.
You hide in the bushes. The zombies are playing dead at the mouth of the entrance. The two entrance guards are not playing dead. They ARE dead. The few torches you see off in the distance are getting closer, but they're still not close enough yet to discern how many there are, or what they are for that matter.
Grishkar begins to weave a rudimentary arcane pattern from the bushes. At its conclusion, a mist begins to rise from the cave's mouth. In a minute, the mist becomes a thick fog, obscuring all but the most determined light. Trying to stay quiet, Grishkar hisses, "Distract them when they get here!" but it's unclear who actually hears him.
(I've got a plan. A sneaky sort of plan. BTW did you know that familiars can cast spells at a Touch range? >:) Did you know that Dragon's Breath is touch-activated?)

Haha I was poking fun that I believe most of you are non-evil except Grish =P
Also, while you guys are discussing what to do, you can see a couple of torches and movement over a hill a bit away, coming towards you guys.
As if on cue, Bors grabs the werewolf by the front of his shirt, smacks him hard across the face, points at the torches and says "you were sleeping on duty! who is that approaching the cave?" intimidation: 14
The werewolf looks at you, then at the lights in the distance, and only smiles.
"Kiril." He says. "He returns with the pack..he will skin you alive."
OOC: Can we knock him out again?
