I'm assuming you guys get out of the room and not wait for death to arrive, so i'll describe this last, final room.
This room is filled with portals. Hundreds of them. They lead to hundreds of different places and times, Hells only know where. The biomass material is literally covering every inch of the room. It's wet and sickly and gross.
In order to return back to Barovia, you need to choose the right portal. You have a few moments to look before you leap, but that will require everyone looking for the right portal to take.
Lets make some INT checks. I want a few results over 15.
Absolutely, and they should, or someone will die. That success you just made will count for round two. Don't forget. Everyone gets one roll per round, and I gotta keep track cuz the Maze is trying to obliterate you all.
Once everyone rolls for "round one" I will add fluff narratively to describe what happens.
Martha turns to Imyrll, “Hey Imyrll, would you mind if I held onto the tear? If one of us gets sucked away into a portal, I trust you to find the right one more than I will.”
