OOC:Whelp goodbye Bors, Imryll, and Martha it was fun playing with you. i always thought it'd be Grishkar first.
(I've already got 2 contingencies in mind! One is a Mystic (nomad) who is almost as wicked as Gishkar and much more fickle; more of the "don't get in my way if you want your head" type. The other is a very stoic, yet ecclectic monk that acts more like a martial priest)

Characters:
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
"Grishkar you must have something that you can do to get this door open!" Briella will continue to attack the door, Sniffles and Scout clutch at their masters shoulders as they are rocked by her frantic movements.
Noticing that her spell had no effect, Imryll breaks her concentration on her spell, rapidly grabs a vial of holy water from her belt, and smashes it onto the floor, spilling the contents all over.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After Briella's smash, Kia will move in, "Stand back," she warns. She reaches deep, and punches the door twice, and steps back letting forth a blast of searing light in an arc.
Attack action Attack: 22 to hit, 6 of magical-weapon-equivalent bludgeoning damage Attack: 18 to hit, 6 of magical-weapon-equivalent bludgeoning damage
Bonus action: expend 2 ki to "cast" burning hands ("Searing arc strike") Door must save or take 6 "searing waves of energy" damage (?)
OOC > Someone take their bad luck back, please. That's three natural 1's in the past five rolls. Sigh.
"If you hadn't noticed, I seem to havr lost most of my brute force to our ******* HOST! Damn this place and damn that Abbot. When I break free of this realm, it will be my life's mission to return here and turn this ******* realm inside-out!" Grishkar stands in the rear, arms crossed while the screaming and struggling proceeds inside.
When the noise ceases, Grishkar seems to perk up, "Wait! Did you all hear that? Everthing stopped inside. There's nothing, not even the sound of bodies hitting a floor. It's like there is a void now. Proceed with caution going forward. As it stands, I can do no more effect than your own strength, but my power may be needed later."
(Grish is squishy and has only crowd-control or single-target spells that don't really carry "force" per se)

Kia, with your second punch, (the nat 1) you can feel all the fingers in your left hand break into a million pieces at impact. OUCH!!
OOC: Last time I played a Ravenloft campaign, I stupidly had my character put his ear to the door to listen what was going on inside the room...****y to find out that the door was a mimic and it basically ate my head off, killing me. Joyous! What is it with doors in this world?!
Imryll, Bors, and Martha are dragged into something of a nightmare, a huge, living sac of a stomach(?), writhing and wet, but with a solid floor. There are fetal bodyparts all over the floor, and it takes all your willpower not to vomit from the sight and the stench. You are drenched in greasy organic fluid. The fetuses are merging into something extremely large, quickly.
THOSE "OUTSIDE":
You can take turns, I don't care who goes in what order, but take turns. Bors, Imryll, and Martha are going to be attacked by something terrible. You have to do 200 points of damage to the organic wall to end the encounter.
THOSE "INSIDE":
You will be attacked by something awful. Outlast the encounter to win. It's up to them up there to get you out. Just outlast the attacks.
(Had a halfling barbarian (BADGER!) where the party woke up in a room of doors. Inspected the first one and it was a mimic. Bit and grappled his arm, so I could only do 1 attack per turn or a STR check to escape while I took an automatic hit. Nearly died, but the door-mimic died and there was a dire weasel on the other side. No other option I ran kamikaze at the weasel so the party could escape.)

Bors and Imryll begin to rapidly sink as well. You will be submerged within moments.
OOC: Are we able to stab the tentacles?

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
OOC: Imryll is obviously sitting breech in the womb room. Sorry, a c-section will be required to pop her out! LOL
