Amazing job!! I rolled pooly, but the role-playing was on point. GG no re, Briella! Gratz on the save. Those vampire spawn are pretty annoyed.

When my boss isn't being a dick i'll update the adventure.

OOC: I would just like to point out that I just DM’d that battle on my MistBusters campaign and it took a few days. Briella wiped it in one turn. *golf claps*

I'm hoping this adventure for you isn't too boring, seeing as how you're basically doing the same thing here. More or less. I'm sure many of these encounters you know about.

OOC: Haha, not at all! This has been super fun! Also, a lot of your encounters have been different from mine so it’s like it’s completely different! Great campaign!

OOC: And so we continue the story of Briella being a annoying thorn in Strahd's side. *bows* Thank you, thank you, you're all too kind. (That was such a gambit I didn't think it would actually work. Thank goodness for that disadvantage.)

This has been amazing fun for me. To be honest i'm adding a little personal flair to the campaign, and I deeply appreciate everyone who's been playing and everything you all bring to the table. It makes me happy to know those who have played this campaign find it still fun. The adventure continues tonight! Or sooner lol.

OOC > Loving the campaign, too. The adventure is great, and I appreciate what the other players have brought, too. Great fun. No worries on the schedule either. Helped on three computer builds today (two for my sons) and now going for our second viewing of The Last Jedi. Isn’t vacation supposed to be relaxing? :)

(Loving the chance to play Grishkar longer than 2 fights like my first campaign with him. Awesome playing as the blatant anti-hero)

So, the vampire spawn do not follow you three out on to the street. The door slams as if nothing ever happened, but your heart is racing at the thought that Strahd could be around any corner. You get a sinking feeling that nighttime will not be pleasant if you're outside, that's for sure. Kia, Grishkar, and Briella - you can explore another location, or join up with the others at the Burgomaster's Manor.

Is that Imryll running down the street towards you guys, frantic? =P

Bors and Martha, you can decide what you want to do at the burgomasters. You can introduce yourself, explore it, or head off to another location.

My advice? Don't split up. =P

OOC: I believe Bors and I wished to see how the Burgomaster handled his verdicts

Briella stops for a second to catch her breath. She looks in awe at the symbol in her hand, as if truly seeing it for the first time.

"Amazing." She whispers, tucking the object back into her side pouch. She then turns her attention toward the other two.

"Come on we need to find the others before nightfall and then find a place to hunker down. I fear this is not the last time we will see those vampires and I'd like to be prepared when we face them next." She reaches down to the other pouch on her side and tosses two of the furry balls out. A sleek feline forms from the darker ball, the panther begins striding elegantly toward the group.  Its stride is interrupted by the other animal, and giant muscular boar with large tusks charges the elven woman knocking her off her feet. She barely gets the chance to shriek out "Bakin,no-!" before the animal topples her and begins licking her face much like a dog would.

OOC: Imryll definitely smells a pork product. Mmmm, bacon.

Ok, peeps, tell me what y'all wanna do and i'll prepare the next segment.

OOC: I like to think that Bors and Martha are just watching the court scenes from The Emperor’s New Groove. 

The Burgomaster makes a simple speech about how, once again, being happy and having these festivals will keep Strahd at bay, and everyone must enjoy them, stop badmouthing them, and have fun and be happy. At the end of the speech, he shouts "All will be well!" Without protest or violence, they are escorted away, wearing plastered donkey heads as to cause them shame as they are walked to the Stocks (to area N8). The Burgomaster says to not interfere, as would be a crime.

OOC: Did we hear what their crimes were?

OOC: It was malicious unhappiness

How was guilt determined?

They complained that they were sick of constant weekly festivals. Apparently, showing unhappiness at a festival is criminal.

Martha whispers over to Bors, “Yep, exactly what I was worried about. Total whack job. You can have the pleasure of introductions.”
