‘Let him down please, G?’ asks Jeremiah, going over to search the half-orc as a way to distract himself from the rest.
’One of our companions flipped out, ran off after that monstrosity, then came back and attacked us. Vi would still be alive otherwise...’ he manages to keep a mostly steady voice as he’s talking
Guardian cuts Floon's bonds to release him, then steps back over to Jeremiah. "Yes, they will help me. I will use one now just in case we meet something on way out." He says as he drinks one of the potions. "Are you hurt, do you need the other one?" He asks.
Q10 are both sleeping quarters, nothing but straw pallets and rust manacles.
Q11 - In the middle of this otherwise empty room is a stone pillar carved with a small symbol: a perfect circle with ten equidistant spokes radiating outward from its circumference. In the middle of this circle is a smaller circular indentation that bears a passing resemblance to a lidless eye. Up the stairs there are two doors, one leads to a small room with a dead goblin archer (q2b) and the other leads to a door that opens up into the sewer.
Q8 seems to be an empty room. Make a perception check.
‘I don’t know what’s down that way, G, but I’m too weary and heartsore for a fight. I say we head back through the sewer, since we know we cleared that route.’ he sighs ‘Do you think you can carry Vi’s body, G?’
"I would agree on getting out of here as fast as possible," Floon says. He glances over at Gorm's body, "Um... Should I bring him with us as well? He was your companion correct?"
Jeremiah, finally, looks at Gorm’s body, and lets out a long sigh. ‘He was foolish, and got Vi killed, but if that thing was anything like the brain, maybe he didn’t betray us willingly.’ he finally nods ‘If you can carry him, then please do...’
As you return to the Skewered Dragon, you find not only Renaer, who is pacing the room, but Volo as well who is drinking alone in a corner. As soon as the two see Floon they both jump up. "Floon! You're okay. Thank the gods." Volo rushes over and gives Jeremiah a huge hug before moving on towards Guardian and Floon, ecstatic to see his friend again. As he steps towards Guardian and sees Vi's corpse he stops. "Oh... I... I.... um... I'm... I am so sorry. Please, come in. Sit down." Renaer, who has up until now stood to the side, walks up and grasps each of your shoulders in understanding. He looks over to the bartender and says, "You are closed for the evening and saw none of this," before tossing a handful of gold pieces at him. He follows you over to a nearby table and asks, "Please, tell us everything."

Grum’shar carries his spellbook, which contains the following spells: burning hands, disguise self, false life, shield, unseen servant, and witch bolt.
Tucked behind the stone chair is a small, unlocked wooden chest containing two potions of healing, 16 gp, 82 sp, and 250 cp.
Jeremiah tucks the spellbook away in his pack, and grabs the potions and money too. ‘Will these work for you, G?’ he asks, showing the potions.
Guardian cuts Floon's bonds to release him, then steps back over to Jeremiah. "Yes, they will help me. I will use one now just in case we meet something on way out." He says as he drinks one of the potions. "Are you hurt, do you need the other one?" He asks.
Healing 2
That was a fabulous roll.
(You need to roll 2d4+2, not a d8?)
(Yes healing potion would be 2d4+2, it is not a potion of cure wounds.)
Floon staggers up and says, "While I am far from in good shape, I don't want to take something my rescuers might need. I'll survive."
Oops, thanks! Falling back on old school rules. :)

Still ignoring Gorm’s corpse, Jeremiah goes to check out the adjoining rooms...

Perception: 7
Jeremiah makes a point of noting down the circular symbol for future study.
Beneath the loose flagstone you find a secret tunnel leading north
‘I don’t know what’s down that way, G, but I’m too weary and heartsore for a fight. I say we head back through the sewer, since we know we cleared that route.’ he sighs ‘Do you think you can carry Vi’s body, G?’
In spirit, Vi is seeing and appreciating the care.
She wishes she could reach out, communicate, but everything seems ethereal and she keeps feeling a force like a vacuum...
"Tell my family!" she cries. No one in the room below seems to hear her, and then she gives in to the pull...
"I agree. Going on at this point would be difficult and dangerous." Guardian says as he moves to pick up Vi.
Floon carefully picks up Gorm and nods, "Lead the way."
Jeremiah opens the door into the sewers, and leads Guardian and Floon out of the sewers and back to the Skewered Dragon, looking for Renaer...
(Shout if you want to make the trip back more, umm, memorable?!)
As you return to the Skewered Dragon, you find not only Renaer, who is pacing the room, but Volo as well who is drinking alone in a corner. As soon as the two see Floon they both jump up. "Floon!
