If Phillip’s light will reach far enough from here, for Alton to see by, he’ll stay this side of the pit for now. Or he could offer the glowing arrow to Alton to jump over with…
Yeah Eku is up in there with you and Alton. She can fly into the pit and catch a jumper should they not make the 10ft jump, but yeah she'll roll a STR check to see if she catches the person.
She can even fly through the next bit, past the blades as they seem to be activated somehow by the floor. (Phillip's roll made us aware of that).
She can actually get all the way to that wooden door.
She also sees that third section which is the puzzle on the floor, and it seems broken and inoperable. (there is no risk in that 3rd section, right before the door). Please actually just ignore that section.
Eku would be willing to change into her human form and try and open the door, but she'd rather wait for at least one other person to come with her. She takes a listen to the door, and hears nothing.
Azaka is with Gotur and Evo near the pen. She had an instinct to chase the fleeing fledgling axe beak, but she restrained herself. (lol)
If he gets across safely, Phillip will then stay near the pit, to help anyone else land properly (and not to trigger any of the floor buttons), along with Eku.
Phillip, you're able to softly land on the trap floors without activating the blades. I think you could actually just go ahead and jump right across to the door now with Eku.
Alton may not even need to risk his jump to try and disarm the blades.
Gotur moves ahead to the entrance of the shrine, Azaka follows him.
Eku would call back to Phillip"I do not sense any good or evil presences beyond this door. However, there is some type of magical energy. We should proceed with caution should we desire to see what's beyond the door."
She senses Abjuration magic beyond the door. Her detect magic was the last spell she cast, so it shall remain on if the door is opened to see exactly what is omitting the magic. All she knows for now is that it's beyond the door.
She checks the door for traps: 21
She doesn't see any traps and is confident in that.
She looks at Phillip, waiting for him to jump across and try the door, albeit carefully.
Phillip calls back to Alton… “Can you try and disarm the blades? Yep?… I’d rather they be clear in case we need to retreat quickly! Uh huh uh huh…”. If Alton jumps across he will stay there long enough to help with his attempt to land ((advantage on acrobatics check?)).
When he’s done that (and Alton is safely working on the traps), Phillip will leap the distance to the door and open it carefully, slowly and quietly with Eku’s help, to see what’s in there…
Phillip casts light on a button or buckle on Alton’s chest so he can work on the traps. In the meantime his arrow light goes out.
He will wait by the door with Eku until Alton says the traps are disarmed before lighting his own arrow again (making Alton’s button go dark in the process). And then try the door and look in.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Evo will head to the silver holy symbol and examine it. Is it one his is familiar with? Either way he will take it down reverlently with the intention of passing it on to Camp Vengeance.
Religion: 19
"Ye should be with yer faithful. Aye'll return ye to them."
He will then head over to the lantrines and look down at the dead man/woman.
Is there anyway of getting them out so he can put them to rest (burn the remains)? Maybe tying a rope to something sturdy nearby and lowering down to lift them out? If there is he will do that, otherwise he'll wait for the others to finish testing the traps in the temple place. Maybe calling,
"Azaka, ye mind giving meh a hand here if ye aren't doing anything?"
Alton, you're able to jump over the pit (there are ledges on each end which doesn't make the pit the full 10 ft) and with your acrobatics check you gracefully land on the ledge just before the blade traps. They are quite old and you haven't seen this particular type of rig before, but after some time and almost getting too frustrated, you manage to disarm the mechanism. (it was DEX, and DC was 10) The blades will not move anymore.
So, the blade trap is disarmed. Alton could move forward with Phillip and Eku without risk now.
Evo, you are familiar with the symbol. It is a silver holy symbol of Torm, a god whose portfolio consisted of duty, loyalty, righteousness, and law.
Azaka is happy to help Evo with the dead body. She is warmed at Evo's desires to properly put the body to rest. She's actually going to change back to her human form right now as she helps Evo. The body can be brought out easily enough with a rope, as this latrine isn't that deep. It's kind of gross, but at least some time has passed since its last been used. Animals have consumed most of the fecal matter.
On the remains, Evo would notice a warhammer and a pouch containing five assorted gemstones.
Azaka will help with the burning of the remains and would join in any prayers as well, following Evo's lead.
Phillip opens the door, and Eku moves in slowly into the room. The floor of this dusty, 40-foot-high, 20-foot-wide chamber is littered with dinosaur bones. Webs stretch from the walls to a 30-foot-tall central pillar, coiled around which is a narrow stone staircase, its steps covered with dust. Carved into the pillar are reliefs of a man carrying a crocodile. The reliefs follow the stairs to the top of the pillar, on which sits a large, beautiful, ceramic jug.
Eku sees that the abjuration magic is coming from specific stairs. It's obvious some of the stairs are trapped. Steps 3, 10, 17, and 23 to be precise. If these steps are walked on, something magical, abjuration based, will happen.
She also sees conjuration magic coming from the jug, stretching her spell range 30 ft up the stairs.
She says to Phillip (and Alton if he now proceeds to follow) "hmmmm.... it's clear the stairs are somehow trapped. I can easily fly to retrieve the jug, I should be able to grab it with my mouth. The question is, do we want it that much?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Phillip will look about the room from the entrance, just to make sure nothing else stands out as important, or useful, or valuable…
Perception check: 18
Then he calls to Eku, “Uh huh, yep yep yep!… iffffff- you think you can get it… uh huh… without triggering the traps, yes! Let’s grab it!!… Mmm hmm..…”.
He stands in the doorway, on high alert, as Eku tries to get the artefact…
I think if Alton jumps across, he'll need to make an acrobatics check to land on the floor without initially triggering the blades.
(same with Phillip, there's no room so you'll need that same roll to land without triggering)

Phillip leaps across the gap!
((He can easily leap the distance, but I think you said he needs an acrobatics check to make sure he doesn’t step on the trap floor sections he saw)).
He will also ask Eku to fly just above the trap-triggers and stop him from fumbling that way, should he not stick the landing ((here goes))…
