Kray charges forward following the rest of the party, The swords canes to live as it erupts into flames once more as she runs and she tries to hit the creature and slice down one of its heads.
(Attacks rolled on the sheet and logged hopefully at the gamelog;
1st attack: 17 damage: 5 slashing plus 8 fire if it hits add 11 radiant damage from smite lvl 2
2nd attack 19 damage: 11 slashing plus 5 fire. If it hits add 18 radiant from smite lvl 1. She will use her reaction to impose disadvantage on attack roll to an ally 5 ft from her or to shield herself in case of an area of effect spell of dex save allowed)
Brenvull you watch as the giant stands with a roar of anger, snatching wicked looking axe in its belt and looking around in confusion for its missing Morningstar. You release your guiding bolt but in the heat of the moment you aimed too high and it slams into the ceiling above the creatures head.
Lorvax you charge forward slicing your weapon into the creatures thigh. It grunts in pain and then reals back as your second swipe cuts into its midriff. Finally you turn and slam your pole toward one of its ugly heads but it is wise to your presence now and bats it away with a snarl.
Kray as the flame bursts into life you put all of your energy into attacking the creature. You cut deeply into its free arm. It raises the arm out of your reach splashing blood across the ground and you take the advantage to ram the blade home into its rib cage biting deeply and searing away flesh and muscle. The smell is terrible.
The Demogorgon rears back and opens the mouth of its left head to release a torrent of rolling flame that threatens to overwhelm you all. (Everyone make a DC 14 Dex save or take 51 fire damage/half on a save)
As Lostur's running away, the flames envelop him, burning him to a crisp. "Ouch," he mumbles, eyes rolling back in his head as he pitches forward, unconscious.
Searing pain overwhelmed Lorvax. Looking to his side he saw his friend drop forward. Though it was not in his nature to panic, fear gripped him now as his strength, usually something he relied upon, failed him and he dropped his halberd.

Lorvax and Lostur as you fall to the ground two of the nearby spirits drift forward. The rest of you watch as the spirits float in closer and merge with the still forms of your comrades. A sudden bright blue glow envelopes them and they gasp as the spirits give us their essence to restore 6 hp to each of you.
Once again, you are all at the top of the round. Brenvull get healing ;D
Lorvax and Kray you are still in melee range of the beast. (wow those rolls guys lol)
Lostur comes to, gasping for breath. He lifts his head and gives a thumbs-up to the spirits around him, then clambers to his feet. Turning around, squints at the demogorgon, then points a finger at it and hexes it. Then he sends a few eldritch blasts its way:
Blast 1: 24 Damage: 7 (1 force, 6 necrotic)
Blast 2: 27 Damage: 20 (13 force + 7 necrotic)
Reaching down, he picks up the massive maul again and drags it a little further away, which is not really that far at all, considering that he used half of his movement to even just stand up again.
Since everybody's still(/back) up I will keep the "Bless" I declared for now. Keep healing for when they go down again.
Also how big is the room we are in? (I think Brenvull might consider moving out of blast range of the baddy to make sure he maintains concentration, but he would want to be in movement range for a possible Cure Wounds when someone goes down)
(It turned up that minutes turned to hours due to work)
DEX save: 3
(roll should be at +3 not +2, my bad writing, so it’s a 14, which is a success and she will take no damage thanks to the shield master feat. I love it )
Taking cover under her shield Kray is able to withstand the fire from the but she feels the metal turning almost white due to the heat,
- You want fire? Take this!! -
She swings her weapon trying to slice one of the heads off.

Lostur you slash into the giant before turning to move away with the huge morningstar in your grasp. The Demogorgan takes an attack of opportunity, lashing out at you with its axe Attack: 22 Damage: 18
Brenvull you have room enough to back out toward the entrance placing you out of range of another breath attack for the moment.
OOC: Now worries Kray, you and Lorvax still have a turn before the beast goes again.
Lorvax was unsure as to what had happened, he slowly opened his eyes and spotted his halberd lying next to him. Looking up his senses quickly kicked in as he saw the monstrosity towering over him. Keeping as quiet as he could he scooped up his halberd and prepared to unleash another series of attacks; fighting through the pounding headache and numerous cuts currently covering his body.
(I thought Lostur wasn't next to the thing, which is why he eldritch blasted it with a hex instead of yklwaing it with a spirit shroud. If it was I have to redo the attacks because blasts would be at disadvantage at close range. Also he wouldn't have moved out if he was next to it precisely because of the AOO, but if that happened anyway, Lostur is back down again! Let me know what I need to reroll if anything.)
OOC: Lostur my apologies you had of course already started to move away. The Beast is so dazed and confused by its rude awakening that it lashed out and missed, thinking you were closer than you were. You are unharmed.
In the meantime Lorvax you take advantage of the creatures confused state and deliver several more powerful blows to it. The wrathful creature is looking in bad shape now.
Lorvax the creature glares at you. Make a Wisdom save, DC 14 or Insanity Gaze. The target suffers the effect of the confusion spell without making a saving throw. The effect lasts until the start of the creatures next turn.

Knowing that they cannot give a inch of terrain now, the paladin keeps her pressure on the creature. She felt almost depleted of energy but she will make a good use of it. Her blade, bright with bot the flames and the radiant energy of Bahamut falls upon the beast once more.
"Keep it on brothers!! It cannot stand against the mighty strength of Bahamut's children!!"
( Assuming the 11 of my second attack of the last post didn't got him I will spend her last spell slot in a smite in case any of her attacks this round hits)
Affects of Confusion: 4((The creature doesn't move or take actions this turn.))
Lorvax stands, cocks his head, and stares blankly back at the creature. He was sure he had been doing something but could not quite place what. Dumbstruck he looks down at his weapon, rolling it over several times in his hands. He was sure this weapon was his, but it did not feel 'right'. Why would he have use for a weapon such as this? It seemed cumbersome and heavy in his hands.
Looking over at the other people that were around him, he was sure he knew them... One of them shouted something. Kray he believed her name was. He knew Kray, sure he did. He gave her a big smile and a wave.
(( Don't forget your bless dice. (1d4 on attack rolls and saving throws) ))
Brenvull steps from around the corner looking in "You guys still okay? I have not run away, I'm just around the corner to bring you guys back up when you fall" he says a bit ashamed he is hiding behind the corner.
Seeing everyone is still up, hurt though they are he calls down Sacred Flame on the creature (Dex DC 14 or 14 radiant damage)
Lostur keeps up with his mission of playing keep-away from the demon. He finger-guns over his shoulder as he continues the arduous drag, the first flying wild because really, he isn't looking at what he's doing for that shot.
Blast 1: 8
He has the presence of mind to actually look over his shoulder at his target with his next shot:
Kray, Lorvax and Brenvull the floor is yours!

Brenvull is not sure if he is agitated or not. But he is chuckling at Lostur's move.
He fires a Guiding bolt at level 2 Attack: 12 Damage: 12
(If hit next attack has advantage)
Choosing his moment to strike; Lorvax engages with the demogorgon, whirling his halberd.
