The other children pipe up, "We may be young, but we're not stupid. We can rescue ourselves." Then they move aside to show a boy bent over a temporal manipulator built out of (soggy) chips.
Calius sighs. "You are young, perhaps. But I don't measure age. I measure maturity. You are, undoubtedly, brilliant. But you're also naive, though I mean you no insult. The enemies we face would kill us without a second thought. Your machine is ingenious, but if our enemies caught us using it, they would spare no mercy. I can bring you to a safe place."
The boy looks up, "Operation Chip is go! Get into position!" The children rush up into a queue before the manipulator. David grins, "Well, the guards are unconscious and you and your friends seem to be keeping the others busy. I don't think they're worried about us."
A portal of chips opens before them and the children start to file thorough, "Goodbye Mr Calius! Thanks for all the help!" Then the tower explodes into a burst of chips. Everyone (and I mean everyone - including people in stone bottles (which are broken by the rain of chips, by the way)) takes 66 force damage or half as much on a successful DC 18 Dex save. It destroys the building and everyone is banished back to the last place they were on their home plane.

"Idiots," Calius says. Then he goes after Rill. Not to kill him. To destroy him.
*Dex save: 24. LR on a fail.*
Rill is dancing in a forest world. How about we do this in a PM on Monday? Everyone appears on their home plane regardless.
(Welp Jack is back in prison and won’t be escaping for a bit)

*If he's from the Material Plane then he'll be back in the tavern. The Material Plane has many worlds in it.*
Chilling kinda vibe.
Aethra manages to snatch the blueprints off Emara just before Aethra is banished to the Afterlife. She will return to the tavern soon.
Chilling kinda vibe.
*I think Lesta is a different plane. But Eris isn't from the Material Plane.*
I have a weird sense of humor.
