Markus turned to Morrigan once he makes it down the stairs. "Thanks for the spell. Really came in handy there."

Tarak bounds down the stairs with ease until he reaches the last jump. A slight miscalculation results in 3 bludgeoning damage.

AREA 5

In the room at the bottom of the stairs is another pool. Like pool on the level above, this one is covered with slimy green algae despite the lack of sunlight. The eastern side of the growth has been recently disturbed. Hallways lead off to the north and east. Motes of dim magical light float about the room.

At the bottom of the stairs, lie the burned, crispy bodies of 2 goblins.

"Perhaps we should take a moment and assess everyone's health?"  Sydril says as she helps Camilla into a more comfortable position.

"Thanks, Sydril." she smiled at her. Only down to 1 hp, and using her last spell slot, Camilla busts out her virtual medical tools and begins healing her burn wounds. 9. "I'm afraid my tools are on cooldown." she said sadly.

"Look!" she points. "More crispy goblins."

Morrigan says a quick prayer over the goblins and says, "I am low but I can use my last to help you Camilla." Morrigan whispers a quick word in old draconic and Camilla feels her wounds lessening (healing word) and heals 6

"I'm good." Camilla responds, she's at 13/14. "I think someone else might need it."

With the last few moments of his spell, Zook looks around the room for anything emitting a magical aura.

Zook detects no magic in the room. 

Camilla peeks at the eastern growth for any signs of what might have disturbed it.

It appears someone knelt before the pool, stirred up the algae and splashing some water onto the floor and then dripped water as they went into area 6.

"I would guess that our kidnapper is the one who knelt here. Shall we pursue to the (area 6)?"

Camilla is ready to proceed.

"Sounds good to me," responds the huge half-orc, Tarak, as he swings his huge axe around nervously.  Pacing back and forth he moves to be in the front of the group.

It's time.  I can feel it in my blood.  Revenge is near.

AREA 6

This room looks like it may once have been a guard room or armory. Several empty racks and a few chairs are placed evenly throughout the room. A dusty quiver hangs from a rack toward the back of the room.

"Little to see here, shall we?"  Sydril holds her hand out in front her indicating the group to go before her.

Tarak will nod again and move cautiously into the old guard room. His focus will be to clear the area of any potential hostiles before the others enter and search it for clues or valuables.
