Tarak enters the room, gazing about it. No immediate threats present themselves, though, in the southeast corner, lying under a partially overturned empty rack are what appear to be two human-sized bodies. From where he stands (and his 8 Perception roll...), Tarak cannot tell much else about the figures. The only other thing of interest in the room appears to be the dusty quiver.

Tarak will approach the bodies warily. The last bunch of goblins we saw who were supposed to be dead got up and attacked us. And I've seen the high priests raise too many zombies. Best be careful. The Dark Traveller better not be one of these...
Getting closer, Tarak sees two humans, a man and a woman, both are semi-covered in what appears to be the same green algae-like substance from the pool in AREA 5.
Sydril and Camilla both find much of the same, though, with those higher perception rolls, you both realize that the "green algae" appears to pop and crackle at times...slowly devouring the two bodies on the ground. Neither body appears to match the description the villagers gave of The Dark Traveler, though, what's left of their attire is dark in nature.
The inscription reads, "Vorax the Devourer." Touching each of the six arrows displays the same phrase and a soft glow. When you take your hand away from the arrows, the glowing halts.
Sydril's trance breaks, she rips an arrow out of the quiver and tries repeatedly to break it over her knee. Her face a mask of fury now. When she can't break it she will throw it into the water.
The arrow plops into the water. You all watch as the algae slowly tries to consume it. After a few minutes, though, it just slides back off leaving the arrow untouched and floating on top of it.

"Those...those...belong to a..." she is struggling to get the her words out through clenched teeth..."demon." The last word comes out low and full of loathing. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. "I do not pray for a safe road. I pray for infinitely more courage than I now have." She says mostly to herself. She opens her eyes and looks at Camilla. "I will be, thank you for asking." She says in a calmer voice and walks away from the arrows.
"A demon, eh?"Camilla muses. "How interesting." She looked back at Sydril, nodding, as she whispered. "I know what you mean. You're welcome!"she said, patting you on the back.

"Yuck. Slimy." Does the man look to be wearing dark clothing? Does he fit the description of the Dark Traveller?

"Blcchh." Camilla says, looking over Tarak's shoulder. She then looks around the room as well, to see if there's anything else:

"Blcch!!" Camilla barks, jerking away, realizing this.
Sydril runs her finger through the dust on the quiver and pulls out one of the arrows.
As Sydril touches the arrow...

Sydril's expression turns to one of terror and her face drains of color. She stands there, frozen.
Once Sydril stops touching the arrows, the inscription fades and the arrows return to normal.
