Searching room and kayaks for a suitable fish and water container for a discussion with the local fauna.  Investigation 13.

“Well, it’s real water up there, no whacking blades on a conveyor belt. And I don’t see anything else hinky either.”

After a few minutes the lit button comes bobbing back and resumes its journey into the hole.

 Just the kayaks, no nets, no containers, no paddles. They do seem sturdy and are about 8 feet long. The fish don't just zip by so you could try to talk to one as it passes.

OOC: A note on Tommary's vocabulary and allusions.  Tommary usually takes the falls in his dueling circuit, and falls hard.  He spends his downtime in the various Vaults of Old Lore as well as reading.  A lot of downtime.

"Mr. Limpett?  I mean, I'd really rather not.  Gettin' our boat  Thunderwaved by a tuna with cataracts seems like a great way to discover another new way this place wants to kill us."

 You attract the attention of a passing fish and is flutters its tail easily to stay near you. "Food?" it asks, hoping for a treat.

Tommary makes a small caked ball out of crumbs from his biscuit and jerked meat sandwich of a few days ago and offers it to the fish, "does anyone else feed you on this run, or do they ignore you?"

The fish eagerly takes the morsel and the crumbs distract another passing fish before it drifts away.

"Nobody feed, mostly eat crawlies and grass."
