"I hope your night was restful? I would like to request that you consider returning to the mountain. At the very least, I would appreciate the return of the door. It would need to be retrieved and brought back. I have my doubts about Silverthorn's artifacts but if you should find them we would be grateful."

“What’s gonna happen if we send the door through the other door?”

"Do you know what fun is?  Do you have it here?  Where do we find it? I got no qualms with seeing what happens when you pull a special door through a special door, as long as at some point we get to party.  I haven't partied in 72 hours and I'm a 24 hour party person so I'm at a no party deficit.  I can even bring the party favors."

 OOC: The Cliffside Dwarves think the Elves are silly and effete for eating with sticks of all things!! Why not use a good fork and cleaver!?

The truth of the matter is that Silverthorn is a mineral poor city. They had to fight and live for hundreds of years on just the resources the forest could provide. Many things that would be commonly made of metal elsewhere are made of wood, ceramic, bone, or leather.

“So…” Toots says around another mouthful of food, “…what exactly am I eating? And what’s are next move exactly?”

Steamed buns filled with roasted sow.

Fish and vegetables in pod rice packets.

Spicy sow wrapped with pod rice.

Steamed vegetables with garlic and herbs.

Fried shrimp with sweet peppers.

and stuffed onions with herb paste.

The Duke makes an expansive gesture, "We will keep it simple," he smiles "you can go back into the mountain to return the other door, for which you will be rewarded. Or," he shrugs,
"you can stay for another day as my guests. Then I will see you safely escorted to our boarders so you might return home."

“And how do we ‘retrieve’ the door for ya?”

"More imporant:  does the reward include a party, or at least a celebration of some sort?  I got that deficit I was talking about."

"What is it you're proposin', Duke?" Ilyara asked.  "You want us to fetch back yer door?  How so?  Was hard enough gettin' through that burning rock heap without carryin' an entire door 'round with us.  You may not've noticed, but I ain't exactly made of muscle," she said with a faint smirk, raising one tiny little furling arm.

"Are we just s'posed to bring th' door somewhere safer, so ye can send a team through it and bring it home?  Or are you hopin' we can hoof it back all the way here, wherever 'here' happens t' be on Urth?"

"Ah yes, you have it exactly. I am requesting that you go back into the inferno to pick up the door and bring it through the mountain back to me."

He reaches into his robe and pulls out a small leather packet and slides it over to you.

"You can transport the door within this...As an incentive, you may keep the device after you return the door to me."

Ganghan Bul nods, "A social gathering could also be considered."

OOC: Any idea what the leather packet is?  Another Satchel of Lewting a'la Toots' purse, or something else?

OOC: akin to my other envelope, likely a Powder of Heroism allowing the user to long haul the door out of the mountain almost single handedly, but curse in that the PC's body will serious crash and take on 3 levels of exhaustion at days end.

Toots begrudgingly puts down some fried shrimp and examine the device inside the leather pouch: (Arcana 14). 🤞

 Picking it up, a folded cloth slides out. It opens into a circular shape and when laid down creates an extra dimensional space 10 feet deep. There is a wooden ladder already inside to easy getting in and out. There are also a stacks of provisions.
