To Prove D&D Exists for Echolon

I think everyone rolls it for themselves. But if you want: (4)

Echolon, we just took a short rest that also has some mechanics to it.  During short rests you can take your hit die and "spend" a few to bring your HP back up.  If you take the 4 Toots rolled or the 3 you rolled for Rosso, that's from Toots' Song of Rest (Bard feature) but can only be taken if you're already spending hit die (it's sort of a bonus).

As Rogue 5 / Fighter 4 you can spend up to 5d8 and 4d10 to get that 68 closer to 88, if you want.  I'd probably spend 2d10 or 3d8 and take Toots song, and spend more if I feel the need to top off.  You don't have to spend hit dice, but it's an option during a short rest.

OOC: It's ok, just do a 2d8 +12 roll and that's how much you'll heal up. No sweat.

After your rest, where do you plan to go?

"So, what now?  We just want to hit the flushing room to see where all this water goes?  Go back to that weird terrarium that had the Saint of the North? I sorta got lost in lotioining during our sess with the goblins so don't really have a lot of ideas."

Henry's room shows evidence that the water has begun to refill after being drained. The deeper section is still murky, and swift moving Vs on the surface remind you that vampire fish lurk within.

Toots will try the same combo of cantrips she used to clear the water in the frostball room.

Toots takes time to clear a small section of water at a time. It almost seems futile. A cube of water becomes clean then within seconds it is cloudy again.

IC: “This isn’t working. I could turn into a giant crab again and swim down, but then we’ll have to check the flush room before we go topside because I’ll only be able to polymorph one or two more times today and one of us will have to fly around up there to see what we can see. Does anyone else have any other ideas?”
