To Prove D&D Exists for Echolon

Elyona will turn her Rod of Lordly Might into a flame tongue longsword, and (if possible) move next to Tommary. She will then attack one of the creatures. If she can stay within 5 feet of Tommary and attack the one who is already a little hurt, she will do so. She will use a first level divine smite on the first attack that hits. 

Attack: 23 Damage: 16

Attack: 18 Damage: 10

Divine smite damage: 2d8

if possible, Elyona will use her protection fighting style to give disadvantage to one attacker attacking Tommary (or another ally within 5 feet of her)

OOC: hoping to give T sneak attack damage options,  it will likely be late tonight before I can post again.

 Elyona's sword bites and burns the already injured beast, then finishes it off with a burst of divine power!

OOC: Forget if this works, but otherwise I don't know if Ely and I will be able to synergize.

As the Shellback falls before them, Tommary the Unworthy gives Elyona a nod and puts Windbreaker to a low ready, ready to deliver some upswings to whichever Shellback the paladin knocks his way.

Tommary is ready to attack whichever Shellback Elyona takes on next.  If it's still standing, here's the rolls:

Tommary has 1d8 Bardic Inspiration to use for that missed attack.

Toots’ then goes do-sI-do with Ely and readies her Rapier to defend herself and Ely if one of those besties comes within melee range. (Attack: 20 Damage: 9) 🤞

Shellhead 2 sees Elyona take down its companion and retaliates with sharp fangs and barbed tail.

Bite Attack: 15 Damage: 17

Tail Attack: 24 Damage: 11 DC 14 CON save vs Poison or take 23 Poison damage.

Tommary and Toots dart in to deliver cuts and slices spraying blue blood over the floor.

Elyona will attack the beastie who tried to attack her:

Ilyara without using spells and having melee options blocks takes out her sling and gives it a go

The stone deflects off a boney head as it takes a bite at Tommary!

Tommary the Unworthy frustrates the shellback's taste test and tail swipe, and returns the gesture with more buffets from Windbreaker.

Tommary's generosity knocks it to its knees, it is in bad shape.

Toots drives her blade into the left nostril causing it to twitch then fall to the ground with a thump.

Ilyara switches targets and lets loose with another bullet Attack: 18 Damage: 8

The sling projectile cracks against armor as it turns towards the party and roars!

DC 14 DEX save vs 13 Thunder damage, save for half,  don't forget +4 from aura.
