Tommary the Unworthy of Rough Fiber Supplements cries out "eyugh!" at the seed spatter, partly because, well, gross, two, because he has seen what consuming too many pumpkin seeds can to do a person, and it ain't pretty when things come to pass, because of course Tommary travels in the circles of adherents to weird diets.

OOC: that would be a crit save if we're playing around with that mechanic.

Toots moves to take the spot Tommary vacated just 10 feet to the north and shouts “Oh no! ELY! Hey punkin! GET AWAY FROM HER YOU *****!!” She then plays some wicked licks on her lute, Wild Stallions style, casting a hypnotic pattern over those five Jacks! DC 17 Wis save or be charmed, incapacitated, and have their speed dropped to 0.

As a reminder, the conditions triggering Elyona’s attacks from her held action have been met.  Her attack rolls are in my earlier post.  

Elyona slashes with her sword cutting deep into the creature crawling up her torso! I looks like it has three mouths now. It is in sorry shape.

Just after brushing away the seeds from Tommary"S attack, more seeds rain upon her DC 10 CON save vs poison.

Jack 2 squirms towards the spider and it reacts by cowering behind Tommary.

ELyona gogo

Seeing that the Jack in front of her has stopped attacking for the moment, and that another is threatening their guide, Elyona moves to intercept Jack #2 and attacks twice:

Attack: 16 Damage: 14

Attack: 13 Damage: 12

Elyona slips free of the incapacitated jack and moves towards the mobile one.

She hacks two vicious cuts into the creature, shearing off a large section of orange squash!
Yet again she is splashed with the crawling seeds DC 10 CON save vs poison.

The jack in front of Ilyara gives her a wide grin and leaps forward attacking with vines

Tommary the Unworthy of Any Capacity for Attention Beyond Divided thinks maybe running the Jacks' through with arrows might be a less seedy option than going at them like a slashers, so sends an arrow each at Ilyra and Elyona's respective Jacks.

If the one toward Ilyra hits, that should receive 5 sneaky snipe damage.  He's also adding a flourish to his attack on the Jack on Ilyra, which would add 6 damage, plus push it back 5 ft + the die roll (I don't know what that may do to the grapple).

He'll then retreat tactically reposition himself to the hex immediately south of Toots.

If the Ilyra attack whiffs, I guess the sneak damage can be added to what looks like a hit on Elyona's?

Toots will play a dirge for the Jack that’s threatening their spider guide: (Attack: 15 Damage: 8).

Pressed in close with no real way to gain her usual distracted edge, Ilyara opts to simply brute-force it through and hope her allies will help if it comes down to it.  A brief chant, a flick of the claws, a few sparks of flame, and Ilyara delivers a fiery strike to the Jack giving her guff.

Attack: 19 Damage: 12

Tommary fires off two arrows each piercing completely through their targets!
Unfortunately the shots cause crawling seeds to spatter over Elyona and Ilyara

DC 10 CON saves ladies.

Toots" song causes a portion of the jack to sprout back mold and slough away.

The splashing seeds are a minor distraction to the fox-girl as she carves a cooked line into the jack at her feet. It now has three eyes.

Another DC 10 CON save vs poison for Ilyara (both with advantage).

Jack 2 leaps at Elyona with flailing vines!

The party notices lightning arc outward from the shaft stuck in the ground near the silver door. A pumpkin of immense size unearths itself with a grumble and shake, rocks and roots falling from its corded wood limbs. In its hands is a spear with three tines, pulsing electricity between them.

OOC: in addition to missing the con saves, I had not gotten around to applying damage; have now done so.

Elyona makes two attacks against the jack grappling her; she will use a 1st level smite on the first attack that hits, if one hits.

Attack: 23 Damage: 23

Attack: 19 Damage: 16

Smite damage: 7 if undead or fiend, add: 2

OOC: so E failed a con save.  (we won't talk about her smite rolls). Does that do damage or apply the poisoned condition?  If poisoned, the attacks above were at disadvantage.  In that case, I'd suggest taking those two as one roll, and I can make another set at disad.  Just let me know.

Elyona gets splashed with so many seeds that some are able to burrow into her skin before she wipes them off.
