Elyona makes the snap decision that she will have to wait to help Ilyara—and herself—until these creatures are dealt with.  She makes two more attacks against the large jack, shouting an angry prayer to Arvoreen as she does.

OOC: sorry, yesterday was a longer than normal work day. I did remember disadvantage on the attacks. 

OOC: That is double 1s on a disadvantage roll.  Man.  Arvoreen clearly doesn't appreciate angry prayers.  Heh.

 The jack is literally cut off in mid cackle as Elyona drives her blessed flaming sword into the guts of the jumbo jack.

The inner flame turns from yellow to white, and the head begins to expand like a balloon...the orange shell begins to stretch and crack...

What do you do?

If Tommary the Unworthy does a cunning action dash, he should be able to reach Ilyra, presumably pick her up, and then get at least ten feet off the western edge of the map, barring any sort of encumbrance restriction.  If it's needed here's an athletics roll to pull this off 19.

“Ely, look out!” If Ely doesn’t move away then Toots risks opportunity attacks and tumbles under the spider to then leap upon Elyona and shield her with Toots’ own body.

Oh, while doing all that cunningly mobile stuff, Tommary the Unworthy is yelling "Moooooooooooooovvvvveeeee!"

Elyona will run as far away as possible from the apparently exploding jack.  If possible in the same direction as Tommary. 

In that case Toots will run with everyone else.

White light shines from the cracks in the jumbo jacks pumpkin head getting brighter. Then looking over your shoulder, you see the head shrink in on itself for a half second before exploding in an ear shattering *WHUUUUUMMMPPPPP*!

Everyone is tumbled off their feet and bits of cooked pumpkin patter and splat around you. There are several seeds that trY to ungulate towards you but except for the one in Elyona  ( 6 wiggle damage) you can avoid them. 

Ilyara needs to make make 1 Death Save

Ily, somebody do something quickly.” Seeing the seeds still wriggling under Elyona’s skin, Toots frets and conjures up a fistful of goodberries for Ely. “Here, eat these, quick.”

OOC/Meta: I'm 'assuming we're at minimum short resting?  Tommary's got spell slots that should cure wounds Ilyra to a range where a short rest should allow her to get back to more serious fighting shape.  I think that works, unless anyone has more efficient ideas?  Not clear whether Ilyra can technically short rest at unconscious, not explicit in the basic rules.  If she can, we can do the hit dice game, and then Tommary can top her off with cure wounds.

I mean y'all want to see Tommary plea to his cult "god" Rodan to deliver healing to Ilyra, right?

OOC: I think it would be a good idea to get her to at least positive HP.

Tommary the Unworthy squats down, putting an elbow on his knees and rest his chin on his hand, like the sacred sculpture, and after intoning "hmmmm" begins:
