 Correct, you can try a CHR roll to break out just like you would a STR roll to et out of a regular one. Until you do, you are restrained.

Note: The cylinder near Ilyara contains a large creature with the foreparts of a chicken and the rear of a hairy cow. It looks like it is asleep.

Tommary CHR roll: 9. If Tommary dancing with himself by doing that Billy Idol "Sweat, Sweat, Sweat" thing and jerking his head to the side helps, add +2 to that for performance.

But you see with performance, it goes to 11.....

Sorry, it’s a DC 17 Int save or it takes that👆much Psychic damage and has to subtract 1d4 from its next saving throw.

The yoogyman had disappeared, leaving Ilyara no obvious target for her wrath.  Denied the ability to strike, the trickster's mind spun for a few moments before settling on an unpalatable truth - nothing for it but to wait.  Drawing magic from Rilia once more, Ilyara began the process of sounding the Traveler's bells once more.  Saving the final activation of the spell for the moment when the yoogyman flickered into sight once more.

(Held action for Toll the Dead.  Wis 15 save for 18 necrotic damage if Mr. Yoogs triggers the spell.)

You see the door to the jack cave open and hear some laughter from that direction.

Not sure if Tommary is still Dancing with Himself in that mind grapple; but if so CHR 13 and +2 to that for performance if Tommary jerking his head to the side while he's chanting "Sweat! Sweat! Sweat"
