As a group, you all are able to evade detection from anyone that would be here. And your group's handful of keen eyes is more than enough to spot any would-be assailants.
The cove itself is a serene place: a tall vista overlooks a crescent-shaped cove. A small wooden ledge provides ample place to fish over the edge of the cove, and into the deep waters nearly 20 feet below the drop. Underneath, heavy waves crash into a shield of jagged rocks that keeps the waters relatively calm in the cove proper.
What's less noticeable at first glance, but you all can discern with your checks, is that there seems to be a steep descent that leads down beneath the rocky outcropping. It looks as if there's a walkway protected from the sea spray beneath the outcropping, however, you'll have to traverse the rocky ledge to gain access underneath. Additionally, it seems as if there's two voices coming from below: a man and a woman, both sounding fairly youthful. It's hard to pick up exactly what they're saying, but it seems you guys have the drop on them.
If you'd like to navigate down to the walkway underneath the cove's rocky outcropping, roll me one skill of the following (your choice): Acrobatics or Athletics. Failure may mean risking exposing yourself to the individuals within the walkway.
If there's something else you wish to do, feel free to say so, and improvise an ability check that you think may be appropriate.

Wulgar, using hand signals, points to the sound of the two below. He readies himself, indicating that he's going to go. Ifeveryone nods yes to the idea, he will use athletics to descend down the walkway and observe the couple. As soon as he descends, he will have his hand on his great axe.
The descent isn't nearly as perilous as it may have appeared at first glance: while loose rubble and the steep incline are tricky to navigate, Cora's quick thinking to use a rope makes the trek trivial at best.
Once you finally descend, sure enough, there are two individuals. One of them seems to be a young man: a local militia member wearing a dinged up set of breastplate that clearly differentiates him from the soldiers of the crown that have been posted within Saltmarsh. His dark freckles and bright eyes betray an optimistic youthfulness. Both of his arms are wrapped around the waist of his partner, a young woman of nearly the same age, with waist-length curls of auburn hair. The two exchange a couple of chuckles and giggles, and you guys can hear the butt-end of their conversation.
"... brought you here because I know how much you love the ocean. I know you're a long way from home, but, you've always talked about how you came to Saltmarsh to see the ocean. Figured I'd bring you to the best spot I know, before more folk are around here later tonight," the young man says. Infatuation is painted in his eyes.
The girl giggles briefly, flashing a genuine smile, and presses a hand against his cheek. "It's beautiful. How long can we stay?"
"We have some time. And if I really need to, I can sneak away from the post tonight. They've got plenty of men, and it's been quiet here the past few nights. I doubt they'll be having any trouble."
It seems you guys have the drop on the young couple in love, if you'd like to confront them. Additionally, now that you are down in this walkway, it seems there's another couple passages that lead under the bluff, if anyone wants to poke around there.
Cora, feeling the romance in the air will cast [Druidcraft] to make it seem like flowers are falling down on them. She'll then skip over to them, almost nymph like. "Well isn't this cute. I do love me some love." She'll stop to stare at them before continuing her little dance. "I hear you two love the ocean, well let me tell you. Something is going to happen here tonight, and I suggest.." she'll stop being cute and get very serious, stopping her skipping. "I suggest if you want to remain in love, you'll leave tonight. I have a boat tied up at the docks in Salt marsh, it's a small fishing boat. Take it or go somewhere else and live out your lives, if you choose not to, and you stay, I can't promise your safety."
"She's right, you know," Lucille says. "Love is a terrible thing to waste. It would be in your best interests to flee now, young as you are, and not look back." Attempting to help Cora to give her advantage on that roll.
"Yeah," Wulgar pipes up behind Cora and Miss C, "we can't promise your.... safety." He says this with a little subtle look to imply potential... harm if they don't leave.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The man looks a bit flustered as you all insinuate that he should scram. He seems hesitant at first, and begins to stammer out a reply. "B-but... I can't leave here. Saltmarsh is my home. Ma and Pa live here. Own a profitable fishing business, and..." He's cut short as both Wulgar and Lucille chime in. His eyes are wide, and the lass gives him a nod, placing her hand in his.

We could sail for Seaton, or ride up to Burle, or even elsewhere. Fend for ourselves. C'mon, will you come with me?"
The man sighs, and nods. "Yes, I'll come with you, Anne."He turns back to you all. "Mind if we have just a bit longer here? We'll just be looking at the ocean, and we'll stay out of your way. The trouble I think you all are talking about won't be here until sundown."
Anyone who's wishing to search the passages under the bluff here may roll me a (pick one of the following): Perception, Investigation, or Survival check to search for clues, things that look out of the ordinary, or for tracks.
Feel free to improvise any other actions, such as if you guys would like to set up for an ambush tonight.
