Shun's detect magic spell should be running still, so he takes a look at the room for emanations and auras.
"What we try to find here? Used to know, but not now,"he says to the group.
Shun sees the room has a number of broken magic items in the room, with traces of magic on them. The central area with the red rocks has lingering magic of a conjuration spell, deactivated, but still funtional.
He points out the broken magic items and helps gather them together. He also points out the red rocks conjugation and hopes someone who knows more magic can figure out what happened there, and can figure out if the items are useful or too broken.
Firebolg, you cannot tell what these rocks are. Perhaps if you had time and tools...
Shun, as the approach the room on the opposite side of the open hall, you get a familiar feeling. Also an obscured magical creature and a faint conjugation magic.
The second room appears to be a mirror image of the other one. The magical creature (a fiend by your feeling) appears to be in a small obscured cage, just like in the last one.
"That is a long time. Your friend in that room did not tell truth so we left them. All alone. Tell us truth, what is in here we might want, what is bad, and you might get out," Shun says, shrugging somewhat encouragingly.
"magicks books and stuff to finds out how to beats human crystal gods. Maybees?"
"Right. Any of those here? Can we get a move on? Not want to live in here," Shun says, looking through things. His patience is beginning to run out.

How do you proceed?
If no one steps forward to look, Shun gathers the broken magic item pieces and nods, and heads to the other room, and opens the door.
The firebolg will take a look at the red rocks, to see if they seem like they are naturally that color, or painted or stained some how.

The fiend curses at you as you leave.
Firebolg, you cannot tell what these rocks are. Perhaps if you had time and tools...
Shun, as the approach the room on the opposite side of the open hall, you get a familiar feeling. Also an obscured magical creature and a faint conjugation magic.
"Some... thing is here," Shun says, pointing to where he senses it. He readies an attack if it is hostile. "Who are you? What do you want?"
The second room appears to be a mirror image of the other one. The magical creature (a fiend by your feeling) appears to be in a small obscured cage, just like in the last one.
Is it invisible? Or just obscured to look like a bat?
Obscured behind behind a cloth, like the bat.
Shun pulls off the cloth and throws it aside, looking at the field within.
The fiend looks like a raven. It is behaves like a bird, not realising you have seen through it.
“What do you want little fiend bird? Tell me what is in here,” Shun says.
The raven looks at you, sighs, and turns into an imp.
"...of course the first creature I see in a few centuries is a mage who can see straight through my disguise. My luck is terrible..."
"That is a long time. Your friend in that room did not tell truth so we left them. All alone. Tell us truth, what is in here we might want, what is bad, and you might get out," Shun says, shrugging somewhat encouragingly.
The imp seems shocked by your words, and starts fuming (both figuratively and literally).
"Friend?! Pah! Are you blind? The foul disgusting quasit demon over there?"
He seems to have missed the second half of your sentence.
Gruntor stares the bird, surprised that it speaks common. "The other one only spoke bat language"
