What do y'all think of would be a good DC save a character's phobia.
I have a Tifling character that I have giving a phobia to fire, being the only survivor of a large building fire. I have it where everytime she is exposed to fire she beings to hear and see the victims of the fire in the flames. The larger the fire, the louder and more visible the illusion is.
Right now I have it where is she is see any fire 5ft is size or larger, then she becomes Deafened and Frightened. However after her last battle, after our Druid used Flaming Sphere to clear away some web, I've realized it's a bit too debilitating. I want to add a DC save check WIS, but I can't think of how high to make it.
The Difficulty Class section in the Dungeon Master's Guide, page 238 (or here), mentions how to establish DCs depending on action difficulties.
I will agree with Matthias for a standard DC of 15 (moderate difficulty) on the conditions you set - 5ft flame is large enough to consider it a sizeable threat. You could arrange a DC on the fly with the table in the book based on the size of the fire pretty easily - 20 for an entire area of fire, or approaching a huge, distant forest fire, 5 for a contained, controlled campfire, 30 for entering the volcanic lair of an Efreeti lord.

Around 15, probably.

Should it change depending on the size of the fire.
Of course.

Cool thanks for the advice y'all.
