Depends entirely on what the trigger is for those effects. No one has argued you ignore them universally. You only ignore them if they wouldn't be triggered by your arrival via teleportation. Example: teleporting into a square that is difficult terrain doesn't cost additional feet of movement.

Quote that "various RAW" that says teleportation is a type of movement? I fully recognize that you are claiming it is. As of yet, in 37 pages, no one has provided a rules quote that actually calls it movement, though. That's sort of a big hole in your case.

Sure. If you walk through a Wall of Fire you'll get burned. But if you teleport through it, you wont. The only thing being argued about, RE: Entering, is do you actually trigger the text of the effect or not. Sometimes you might, sometimes for sure you don't. Depends on what the effect says.

Dude some people in this thread have straight up arguing that teleportation is a type of movement. So, yeah actually that is a topic in this thread. Just look at the post directly above this one. He's absolutely positively saying that teleportation IS movement, and that all of us who disagree aren't playing according to RAW. It is an unsupported argument and should be pointed out as such when it comes up.

If it is a rule as you now insist, then someone takes damage when teleporting into a spike growth field as if they ran in, i.e. based on full distance edge to arrival point.
