Does the insignia of claws bonus apply to a primal savagery melee attack?
insignia of claws says:
The jewels in this insignia of the Cult of the Dragon flare with purple light when you enter combat, empowering your natural fists or natural weapons.
While wearing the insignia, you gain a +1 bonus to the attack rolls and the damage rolls you make with unarmed strikes and natural weapons. Such attacks are considered to be magical.
You channel primal magic to cause your teeth or fingernails to sharpen, ready to deliver a corrosive attack. Make a melee spell attack against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 acid damage. After you make the attack, your teeth or fingernails return to normal.
What does everyone think? I can’t find an official ruling.
I will agree with Matthias. Primal Savagery has you make a spell attack, not a weapon attack that would care if you're doing it with an actual weapon or a natural weapon (or neither, making it an unarmed strike).
As written the answer is no. But as intended might be a little iffy because you are attacking with claws. It could be allowed by a gm but if not, don't fret it's only 1 to hit and damage.

RAW, no. Primal savagery does not use the phrase unarmed strike or natural weapon, or the plural forms thereof, so it has nothing to do with either.

Ok, seems odd, but I see your point.
