True Strike requires you to make the attack with a weapon worth at least 1 CP. So, you could use it with a sling, but not if just throwing the stone.
Edit: Just checking the Magic Stone wording. It requires you to make a “ranged spell attack”. That’s a bit different from the usual situation with True Strike, but as it’s still an attack with a weapon, I can’t see a good reason why it wouldn’t work.
okay cool! i was hoping to get radiant rocks for my character, and was hoping these cantrips could make that happen. Thanks for the review and the info breakdown!

- level 5-10: 1d6 + SAM Bludgeoning or Radiant + 1d6 Radiant damage.
This has come up before in the forums, but there are a few of us who disagree that magic stone allows you to make a weapon attack, as the words "make an attack with a weapon" or anything similar do not appear anywhere in the text for the spell. It's solely a ranged spell attack, and it uses the spell attack modifier of the caster, not whoever happens to be hurling the pebble -- even if they're using a sling they're proficient with. You could play stickball with one of the pebbles using a quarterstaff, and that wouldn't make it a weapon attack either
This is a minority opinion, however, and it hardly seems game-breaking to allow a magic stone/true strike combo

Especially when you've got shillelagh + true strike...
Is it possible to use a stone enchanted with Magic Stone as the weapon used in True Strike(2024)?

As far as I can see, the outcome would be:
- level 1-4: 1d6 + Spellcasting Ability Modifier Bludgeoning or Radiant damage
- level 5-10: 1d6 + SAM Bludgeoning or Radiant + 1d6 Radiant damage.
