Hello. I am new to the forums, and started making a new character as a back up in case any of my current ones die.The new one is a Warforged (Envoy) Bard, and was wondering If I have expertise in preforming, and as a racial: Integrated Tool:instrument of choice, would the multiplier stack for them or no?
Your proficiency bonus can’t be added to a single die roll or other number more than once. For example, if two different rules say you can add your proficiency bonus to a Wisdom saving throw, you nevertheless add the bonus only once when you make the save.
Occasionally, your proficiency bonus might be multiplied or divided (doubled or halved, for example) before you apply it. For example, the rogue’s Expertise feature doubles the proficiency bonus for certain ability checks. If a circumstance suggests that your proficiency bonus applies more than once to the same roll, you still add it only once and multiply or divide it only once.
That's really a question of how your DM is handling the die rolls for a musical performance. There is the possibility of one or more skill roll of Charisma (Performance) for which you have proficiency+expertise. Then there could be a separate skill check using your Instrument proficiency+expertise (maybe based on Charisma, Dexterity, Wisdom, who knows?). Or the two could be combined to give you advantage on the one roll. You should ask your DM how that sort of roll might work, and then it would be within your rights to ask how having expertise in both relevant proficiencies will be of benefit to you - if the DM indicates that there would be no benefit to having both expertises then perhaps you could ask to swap one out for something else.
Stormknight is correct about not stacking expertise, but Xanathar's Guide suggests https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/rules/xgte/dungeon-masters-tools#ToolProficiencies that if both a tool and skill apply (as would be the case while performing with an instrument) that you make the check with advantage. So with the benefits of your expertise in perform, plus rolling with advantage, you are likely to nail the check. Since this is a character you haven't started playing yet, I might suggest either changing which tool is integrated into your body, or which skill you get expertise with from bard, since you are largely wasting one of them, as perform and instrument will overlap a majority of the time.

Hi there DJDelt4,
welcome to D&D Beyond!
You cannot stack multiple sources of expertise. :)
