Certain enchantment spells (Friends, Charm Person etc.) feature a clause that says something like "after the spell duration expires, the target knows that it was charmed by you..."
What would be a reasonable mechanic for removing this part of the spells' effects? A feat?
A feat can do whatever you want so as long as the DM approves it should be fine. Alternatively, be an Enchantment wizard as one of the subclass features grants the same.

This already exists in the game. It's the 14th level enchanter feature. I think it would be difficult to add in some other way without undercutting the enchanter.

You could add it by means of a feat with a prerequisite of being 15th level or higher without undercutting the enchanter.
