Since it is said that Unicron exists in every Hasbro universe and DND is owned by Hasbro does that mean your DND party will have to eventually worry about them eating your planet?
Idk I looked at them and while it does seem to be a lose reference to Primus it's not the same as Transformers Primus as T-Prime created the Transformers with Freewill and D-Prime seems to be manipulating the thoughts of all their creations through the internet
The only time I recall that Unicron was established as existing in a universe that didn't have Transformers in it was My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, where the villain King Sombra was stated to be Unicron in that dimension. I suspect that in the D&D multiverse, he'd have an equally non-robotic appearance. What guise he shows up as is up to the GM, but the Elder Horrors seem like good candidates.
Chaos from Dragonlance is another extremely good choice- called the Father of All and Nothing and his goal was to destroy the world and return reality to oblivion- pretty much exactly the same as Unicron.
Or you could go the Transformers Prime route and have the world having been formed over Unicron's slumbering body.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Wait, no, you are telling me that we could have had unicorn Unicron but they decided the role was already taken by... Sombra?

That's it, my 2025 is already ruined.
No, I'm telling you that "King Sombra" was the name Unicron went by in that universe.

Fair enough, though I can't really think of any other character who would fit Unicron better: can't be a redeemable character so Discord and Nightmare Moon are out, the Changeling Queen is too prone to absolute ineptness, and that magic-eating centaur ended up as a flunky in the final season so he's out.

Ponies aside, I think it is entirely up to you if Unicron exists in your world. It would make an epic final boss, for sure, though I do not envy the poor soul who tries to write stats for it. Is there a size category beyond gargantuan? Like, several magnitudes beyond it?
Well I was wondering as me and my DM want to think of something which would be a good threat for my retired character AL, we ended the campaign and he became a minor god and retired to make a space empire after shooting down a space ship and building his own so we could continue the second campaign about 100 years after he left. But we do really like AL and would still like something to do with a lvl 20 fighter/lvl 20 paladin with a 2 mile long star destroyer and star trek lvls of tech.

*Looks at D&D Primus* Hmm... Maybe?

Well, Primus certainly exists. And he does some robot related stuff involving the modrons. I mean, he probably does exist in some form or another.

Yes and I am saying that whoever wrote that bit of lore could have picked, or invented, a cooler MLP villain than the "cryyystaaals" guy.
