my original party was called "Officially Sanctioned Heroes In Training" (OSHIT, Cause that's what enemies said when they saw us)
We currently have the THOTS (The Heroes Of The Story)
We've also had the EELS (no acronym, after an enemy fled, our artificer just shouted "Thats what you get for messing with the EELS!" completely unprovoked and it just kinda stuck)
Twin Fairies Noel and Nora Persimmons, Half-orc Ima Nutt, Forest Gnome "Cakes". Nutt, Persimmons, and Cakes. NPCs.
We're down one player who'll return with another character once we reach another town. When we had "Skid" Addle, we were Persimmons, Addle, Nutt, and Cakes. The P.A.N.Cakes.
Kind of a waste, though. It's never come up in-game. *shrug*

Yeah I don't think we've ever named our parties. In one campaign I was DMing the party spent ages down in some catacombs, so I started calling them the Catacomb Kids in my notes, but it was never IC.
Our group attended a harvest festival, and had to register with a name. We hadn’t chosen one, so we were allowed time to think one up. By the next morning we were The Diamond Brigade. Two of our members were called Dia and Brig.
The group I DM for in my latest campaign called themselves "The Faust and the Furious" because they kept making Fast and the Furious jokes about being a family and stuff.

We call ourselves the "Moon Knights". Made up by a 7 and 10 year old because no one felt like arguing with them. Anyways we are called this because we only do interesting (illegal) stuff at night and most of us use some sort of hand to hand combat. (btw we thought of this before the Marvel show).
Our other group name (different game) is "The Wild Things" because we are all nature centered. I'm pretty sure we are all either Chaotic or Neutral. It's great.
“Randy and the Blue-Bearies” because early in the adventure we picked up these pets: three bear cubs, an animated blueberry bush, and a pack of sled dogs all named Randy.
We call ourselves Dennis' Menaces because we all met after being hired by a guy named Dave, for a mission we felt unsafe about talking about in public, so we created a super secret code name for Dave... "Dennis". Now we are known as that and nobody else knows who tf "Dennis" is
My Lost Mine of Phandelver party called itself The Wild G.E.E.S.E after its members Garveld, Emile, Eliza, Shauria, and Ellie.
Names are more prominent in a homebrew campaign I'm playing though: We currently call ourselves Hydra thanks to the Hydra symbol we have on the overworld map on Roll20. Hydra then became H.Y.D.R.A: High Yield Demolitions & Reconnaissance Agents. An alias we'd used for a sting operation was another multi-headed being of sorts, M.E.D.U.S.A (which I jokingly called Men Entertaining Dangerously Underspecialised Actions). Being a political officer of a kingdom my character would like to think of her troops as the Littlewater First & Only, named after the place they all met and formed to fulfil their oath to a mutual acquaintance (a nod to the Gaunt's Ghosts lot, the Tanith First & Only). No doubt we'll have some other names later on, and a few more already being said behind our backs!

Zero is the most important number in D&D: Session Zero sets the boundaries and the tone; Rule Zero dictates the Dungeon Master (DM) is the final arbiter; and Zero D&D is better than Bad D&D.

One of the parties I'm in has unofficially adopted the name Spellfire. Yes, it's a reference to Stranger Things, I know. But the party is literally all full spellcasters, and apparently there was a D&D TCG named Spellfire?
The first party I ever played in was called “The Orcslayers”, which was later updated to “The Dragonslayers”. We were playing DIoP, and every time we fought orcs (which was a lot) two orcs would run away. I wrote a short story about them called The Cowardly Orcs, in which I had them complain that every time they got a job, “The Orcslayers” would wreck it for them. The Dragonslayers came after we finally finished the module.
The next party was called “The Seven Wonders”, because we found a wand of wonder at first level. (Seven was the five of us, a panther, and the wand) Later, we were dubbed “Pell’s Miracles”, when Pell teleported us to Icewind Dale to stop the Frostmaiden.
Then we have “The Book Club” from CandleKeep, named after we found the book flail in the first module.
And finally, “The Giant Slaying Wackamoles”, for our life domain cleric centric Storm King’s Thunder campaign.
My DM loves to tell the story of how in middle school he played in a party called Dying Flames lol. Our current party has a PR guy (a bard) and everything.
Who?
I am also here.
Am snek.
Exactly :)

[REDACTED]
We are currently on our 3rd party name. First was Lost and Found, then Revolutionaries, and now it's F*** Around and Find Out.
The first party I ever played in was called “The Orcslayers”, which was later updated to “The Dragonslayers”. Only spilt the party if you see something shiny.

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
