My old party was called "The Twin Cloaks" because we were bored one day waiting for everybody to show up and opened a word generator. We gave everybody two cloaks of their choice of color and cloth, and one was worn over the front, and one of the back. One guy chose black kevlar, which was a nightmare with AC.
My Chult group is called "The Expedition", just because out of all the other expeditions searching for Omu they made the most progress and had the best backing.
My group is called "The Scarlet Bears", reason for the name? we were playing /just finished LMoP and had a bunch of Redbrands cloaks in our party loot and one of the characters had befreinded some bear cubs from some solo stuff they had done, over the xmas 2019 period we did some solo stuff through discord as an ease of continuing playing when we couldnt meet up due to family stuff.
One of the groups I DM for named themselves Trash Clan because they felt their name should be a warning of what to expect from them. The party I'm currently in is the Florida Men, so we can turn our misadventures into silly headlines: "Florida Man accidentally becomes evil goddess of darkness", "Florida Man loses memory, battles invisible T-rex, is mostly okay with it", "Florida Man steals Strahd's clothing while he bathes, declares himself the new Strahd", "Florida Man technically not a cannibal"

I run two groups of players, group one "The Divided Crusaders (and their pet gnome) Group two "The Hopeless" I have no idea why they chose their names.
The campaign I'm in is centered around finding the relics of this group that saved the world, as we fight the same thing they sealed away. That group was called Ivory Dawn, and my character felt that if we are following their footsteps we should be a "new" version of them(We also, by complete accident, had the exact same races as that group), so New Dawn was born. we technically have, like, eight members, even though we are a party of 5.
Mainly, we couldn't decide... and we knew we weren't GOATs... so the opposite "Terrible On Any Day" seemed more apropos, and as we happened to be delivering livestock at the time, the "Delivery Service" was added. It has proven to be a terrible name... but there are at least two in the group that still insist on calling us that everywhere we go. Mostly we deliver bad news to people... or are the harbingers of impending doom...
does your dnd party have a name and if they do why did they choose it

My group's name is "Nobody." They are just giving me as the DM, grief, so that they can pull off things like "Nobody is killing me!"
