We don't need to improve the chances of grappling. Something that allowed us to deal damage would be nice, but it can't compete with the actions being used to Dash as the movement is responsible for far too much damage.
Ideally, it would be something that increases the Prismatic Wall damage or more movement. Maybe Elemental Adept? With additional Feats past 20, we could take it for every element in Prismatic Wall.
That changes the average damage for an affected element from 42 to 44 for 220 damage per trip, giving us 79,200 damage or 69,696 normalized damage.
For now, having it empty is a reminder that more can be added as WotC releases new content, but if the OP comes back and says the post level 20 Boon is not allowed, we can, as you mentioned, slot it in with a Wizard 17/Monk 3 or a Wizard 17/Monk 2/Other 1.
But why do that? Wouldn't it be better to go with Tana___'s original idea of maximizing the damage?
The next time you cast a spell that deals damage within the next minute, don't roll the spell's damage dice for the damage. Instead use the highest number possible for each damage die.

The damage IS maximized via Wild Magic: 72 + 72 + 72 + 72 + 72 = 360 damage per trip through the wall.
This assumes every save is failed. If we wanted to normalize the damage for saving throw chances, the damage for the first trip would be 65% and the remaining trips would be about 88%. Because we are making so many trips, we can consider the normalized damage to be about 317 per trip.

Move back and forth between both sides of the wall 1,640 / 5 = 328 times.
Average Damage is 118,080 damage
Normalized Damage is 103,910 damage

That's 149 Tarrasques, not counting immunities or traits.
We don't need to take boon of speed with that, using the optional rule that lets you take epic boons after each 30,000 XP at level 20
