It is certainly possible to include aspects and features of these classes into homebrewed subclasses, but impossible to fully recreate (which the thread implies we do).
The mystic in particular created an entire new system of resource management specifically for it, and has so many combinations of options that a single subclass can't handle.
The artificer is a half caster, and in my testing, I have not been able to turn a full caster or third caster into a half caster, making class options limited.
The problem with the ranger is that it replaces base class features that are gained before subclass and all of my campaigns have started before level 3.
It is not feasible to be able to recreate these classes to any recognisable extent, and the official suggestion is to do just that.
I honestly don't even care about the UA classes, I just don't like that the official suggestion is to do the impossible (I also absolutely want to be able to brew base classes though). It is like dangling a prize just out of reach and telling us to grab it.
Unearthed Arcana Ranger makes the RANGER CLASS THE BEST CLASS IN THE GAME. You have so many roleplaying options plus your combat options and damage can go way up if you use races such as wood elf or variant human. Not only does this give the beast master option must better play but it also makes favored enemy and natural explorer actually usable and lets you take on better spells and do better damage. If your DM will let you use these rules use them because you will have the best character. I mean if you're a lightfoot halfling you could be riding a dinosaur at level 3!! FLYING.

I once played with someone who had a Small character and a Pteranodon named Eggplant. She was kind of overpowered.

Have there been any recent advancements on adding the UA ranger to D&D Beyond? Last I heard, it was "planned" but that was, like, eight months ago.
"The Epic Level Handbook wasn't that bad, guys.
Guys, pls."
It's not planned to add the revised ranger from Unearthed Arcana.
The contents of the sticky post on this subforum are still correct:

If this is accurate:
Why can't we make a revised ranger, spell-less ranger, mystic, or artificer?
You're welcome to do so, if you wish to create them as a homebrew subclass.
D&D Beyond doesn't include homebrew of core classes at this time.
