I'm playing a Psi Warrior in a campaign (just hit Level 9). I have one question regarding the Psionic Strike feature. I'm clear how the extra damage works after hitting a target. What's unclear is on the DnD Beyond character sheet it says I have a +3 to hit. That's just a mistake there right? Because if I understand how it works, there should be any to hit need for the feature because I've already hit and then am choosing to add damage - so the +3 is some kind of mistake there correct?
Mostly want to make sure I haven't been missing out on a bonus.
It sounds like an error. Just that they coded it strangely on the sheet as an attack in its own right, instead of a rider added to a different attack. Do you have a +3 int bonus? that'sprobably where the number is coming from.
Correct it comes up as an attack option under "Other". And yeah my Int bonus is currently +3 which is what I add to the damage when I use the feature. So it's just coded weird. Thank so much!
The way the system was programmed the character sheet will always generate an attack bonus whenever something is designated as an attack. It’s just a system peculiarity.
