Hmmm... I would be interested in seeing how that was done. I'm not seeing an option using Create a Character, Create Unassigned or by going to one of my campaigns where I am a player and creating a new unassigned.
for DMs: From your campaign page, click on “copy link” just under/to the left of the invite link (upper right of the page). Paste that link into the url bar of a browser. players should be able to add an existing character or Create a new character using the invite link their DM sends them.
Yes, that let's us create a character, but how do you add the Premade Characters? And maybe I keyed off of the wrong phrase, but it would be useful sometimes to be able to just plop in the Premade for a quick one-shot. If it is actually just creating a character, that's easy peasy... oh wait, let me try the simplified version of character creation and see what I get.
Edit: Ok... so I would have to double check some of the Premade Character, but man, if you do the simplified version it feels like a Premade! Race? Class? Name? And done... so that may have been how they did one that looked like one of the Premades very simply.
So I’m not sure what you mean by Premade. I thought you meant characters you had already created. Do you mean pregenerated characters that sometimes come with adventures (like the pregens in lost Mines of Phandelver)? Or do you mean NPCs from adventures that have “monster” statblocks? Or “quick builds PCs using the quick build option in the builder? Or something else?

As DM. I can't seem to add premade PC to My campaign. Yet my writing partner did no problems?

Creating unassigned characters, probably.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
I mean characters give had for months before I created the campaign. My writing partner used the link ad advertised no problems. Bu I can't do it.
Where/how does it go wrong then? What happens that's different for you?
