I made an unarmed barbarian, path of the beast, VH for Fighting initiate at level 1, unarmed style, just got to level 4 for tavern brawler so I can grapple as a bonus action.
Is there a way to remove all these unarmed strike options from my actions list except for the unarmed version of the unarmed fighting style? I have the regular unarmed strike, tavern brawler strike, and both unarmed and armed strikes from the fighting style. I don't plan on ever equipping a shield or weapon again and the bonus action from tavern brawler synergizes with the unarmed style, (I think it does RAW, but even if it doesn't, my DM has allowed it.)
It's just really cluttering up the action list and I'd like it to be more streamlined. I love dndbeyond as a resource, and I don't want to have to create a paper character sheet, but I can't figure out how to delete the actions.
Also, just as an aside, I had a hard time choosing between tavern brawler and skill master. If I chose skill master, I'd go strength and choose athletics as my expertise, raising my athletics bonus to +8, but grappling as a bonus action was a really good opportunity, plus raising my CON to 20 (Belt of Dwarvenkind) is great. Thoughts?
Thank you very much, don't know how I missed that! Any thoughts on Skill Master vs Tavern Brawler? My guy was sitting at 17 STR and 19 CON thanks to some lucky rolls for stats, and my DM allowing me to keep a magic item from a previously disbanded campaign. He never specified which magic item though, so I had the belt of dwarvenkind.
Taking TB with CON would take my AC from 16 to 17, increase health marginally, and give me a bonus action to grapple. Skill Master with STR would have me gain to attack rolls and damage, as well as gain expertise in athletics, so that when I do grapple, I do it with a +8 to athletics.
It's cool if you don't have an answer, but my DM will let me change it before next session if I want so I just thought I'd also throw it out there.
Both options look pretty good for you. I'd let your characterization decide, as the CON option is more defensive-leaning and STR is more offensive. Which better fits your character's personality and the role you like to play in combat?
I will say that if you like to grapple, I would take the bonus action over expertise. You'll already have a decent Athletics and advantage on your checks whenever raging, so expertise is getting into the land of diminishing returns.

Yep, you should be able to. Just click on an action and select 'customise'. There should be a 'display as an attack' option which you can uncheck
