I'm a player in a Tomb of Annihilation campaign. How do I add the traits found by encountering the personas in the multi-layer dungeon to my character?
To be precise: how to add the spirit of the trickster gods to my character?
Items (at least the item I have) can be applied, and it's traits are applied to my character. However, I can't find how to apply the ..(see spoiler above).. to my character. At least not with from the character sheet, as far as I can see. I have purchased the Tomb of Annihilation digital book, and it shows in my library on D&D Beyond. Perhaps the answer is in there, but if you want to point me to that, please refer to the exact page, so I can avoid accidentally reading spoilers on other pages. I most likely have missed that option, because I can't believe that WotC would sell a book at this price point, and not provide that option.
However, in the unlikely case that they have, and there is no way to do this, would it be possible to create a custom item/spell/whatever to add the traits to my character? If so, is there some guidance how to do that? Thanks!
If you have either subscription, you can search through the community homebrew for the god's name and add a feat to your collection or you can make the homebrew feat yourself. Here's the one I made for Papazotl:
