Trying to download DOIP Battlemaps for my game i'm going to run eventually, and it's going to be an in-person game. Unfortunately the Essentials kit does not come with battlemaps to make combat easier to run through and remember things with. Can anyone help me with finding out how to download images off the digital books so that i can print them?
You can right click and save the images but it's not going to print to scale if that's what you're after. There's no way to do that (at least that I know of). If you just want to print the image for reference and notes, then that should work fine. For in person games, you can get a dry erase battle map and recreate the map from the image in the book to scale. It doesn't take that long and it doesn't have to be fancy.
Dry erase maps would be my choice if you're using minis/tokens/whatever. It only takes a few minutes and you can even draw the map as they go along so that they only see what their characters have seen.
However, if you're playing the Essentials Kit, that may indicate that it's your first game and so you may not want to commit to buying one. You could print the map, see what scale it comes out at, then scale it up so each square is one inch, then reprint.
Alternatively, if it's literally just to track things etc, there's no need to print, just export it to Paint (or similar). A Microsoft Surface is ideal for this, but it's doable on PCs and tablets. Even phones can...but limited screen space will be a pain.

Someone in another post provided this link. https://posterazor.sourceforge.io/online/. I’ve used it once or twice. You can take a downloaded image and essentially blow it up so it prints on several pieces of paper. A little trimming and tape and you’re good to go. I generally go the wet erase drawing but this can be useful for unusual maps.

Ooh i see, Thank you MikeyTheKeat! I'll try to use the website you provided to blow it up and print in four pieces. unfortunately i do not have anything to use a dry-erase marker on just yet. i should probably get one of those blank grids that people have in the future so i don't have to print the battlemaps for every pre-written campaign i do in the present or future, Lol.
Office supply stores also sell presentation-sized pads (36 inches, I think) of 1" graph paper. Those are good for drawing physical maps that you want to keep for future use.

I believe it is possible if you print at FedEx/UPS store.
Yeah you're right. I was talking more about just downloading a PDF that's ready to print to scale. I mean if you can deal with image degredation at that level or enhance it well enough then sure. You can also print it in pieces which someone mentioned. I think you'd be paying more than you want for a battlemap like that, but to each his own.
