I would start with the free stuff, which is in my signature. Then, once you have an idea of what you need more of, you can explore from there. There is no buyer's guide exactly, but the core books are probably the first purchase I would recommend once you are ready to buy. However, those books are getting an update in less than a year, so you should wait to buy them (or buy them right away if you don't like the UA content coming out).
If you mean individual purchase items like magic items and spells, I would ask what class you are interested in gearing up first.
As Erik_Soong said, the core rulebooks (Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual) are scheduled to get an update sometime in 2024. It seems that is likely still a year+ away based on the state of things, but we really don't know the schedule. Supposedly all previously existing content will be backwards compatible with the update, but there is certainly still quite a bit of ambiguity around that. A year is a long time to wait if you are not extremely pressed financially, so here would be my tiers of usefulness for a player (I'm assuming you are playing with a DM who has the Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual):
First Purchase For Core Classes and Rules: Player's Handbook
Second Tier For Maximum Player Options: Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything
Third Tier Specifically For A Large Number Of Playable Races: Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse
Niche Products For Players: Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, Bigby Presents Glory of the Giants - Only buy these if you really like what you read about them, they are by no means essential
I thank you, I have the full dndbeyond digital versions of Player’s Handbook, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse, and Dungeon Master's Guide.
Those seem like pretty solid purchases, but I find that usually beyond those sourcebooks, buying Individual Items within books or preferable the bundles of individual items within a book (spell bundles, etc) works better for me.
I've been a little haphazard with my Individual Item purchases. I was hoping that there was a list or a guide to what exists, that get updated as more content is released and is geared for the things players would be interested in purchasing as "Individual Purchase Items" or bundles of Individual Purchase Items within a book. (spells, races/subraces/ subclasses, backgrounds, feats, magic items, maybe beasts that would be suitable for wildshape/mounts/familars, maybe vehicles and weapon but I haven't really caught that bug yet . .. stuff like that (I might have missed some categories, but I'm generally not interested in the monsters that don't serve a possible purpose for players). There are a lot of books! And you might not know what all the options are, that you don't have access to, without a list.
Your answers are in there. That's why it's pinned to the top of this forum. You don't need to read all 30 pages, just the first posts, the rest is discussion of DDB's business model for the most part, but the early posts are maintained to be current with the existing offerings in the DDB marketplace. It's a much more thorough and accurate guide than you're going to get from a quick response from Sunday morning forum readers drinking their coffee. Making use of it would be the intrepid thing to do.

at this point, based on what we know of the surveys and the actual beta test... the next books will be more inline with 5.5 then a new edition. its gonna be like 3e and 3.5 which had pretty much just errata stuff and a very few mechanics change.

If you mean individual purchase items like magic items and spells, I would ask what class you are interested in gearing up first.
Thank you, I did mean individual purchase items like magic items and spells (mainly spells but also backgrounds, races/sub-races, subclasses, possibly magic items . possibly other catagories of things). I'd like to have all the spells regardless of class ( just because, I can't provide a decent justification . . . I suppose that when I go to game rules -> spell and then select a class, I would like to know that what comes up is all the spells for that class) the class that I am currently most interested in would be Cleric but I'm interested in pretty much all of the spellcaster classes.
I find the process of shopping on the dndbeyond marketplace -> store, for individual purchase items and bundles of individual purchase items of one category within the various books to be a bit clunky, and I was asking if a list (or maybe I should have said "lists") already existed to help streamline the process. Like for example a list of all the books that have spells that can be purchased as "individual purchase items" or "spell bundles" (and perhaps similar lists for backgrounds, subclasses, etc).

Definitely an unusual ask lol. I would say if you were purely focused on spells, then you can do individual purchases at $2 a pop, or buy the spell bundle with each book when available. The PHB has 57 spells, so quite expensive to buy them individually, but the spell bundle from it is $5. It probably won't ever be too economical though. Acquisitions Incorporated only has 7 spells and its spell bundle is $4.
I agree with you that it is a bit clunky. To my knowledge, there is no list of which books have spells to buy. You would have to go through each book and see what they have in the description.

Is there a Buyer Guide to Individual Purchase Items, for Players?

I was wondering if such a thing exits - maybe something a bit like this: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/13989-a-buyers-guide-for-d-d-beyond . . I haven't made it through all 30 pages of that discussion, yet, I guess it's possible that my answer is in there.
