I am wondering if this book will be available on D&D Beyond?
Hmm, that's actually a really interesting point. No rules, no lore, just art and real world history about D&D. I can see arguments for and against having it here, but mostly against, primarily because I'm doubting that licensing for all the art will be viable on a digital platform.

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
Is D&D Beyond going to be exclusively WotC content though? I don't know if that's part of the agreement they have with them.
Not necessarily. It's probably not exclusive but negotiating rights and payments can take a lot of time. Just look at Mercer's stuff and that is 'free' for individuals. That does not necessarily mean it's free for Curse to use either because their use of it could be considered commercial use but if that's the case they've probably negotiated a nominal fee (just guessing guys). The trickier parts is scope and length of use and such things. Usually involves a lot of back and forth, with IP lawyers/experts and time.

This book has my interest. I have a lot of love for the art of 1st and 2nd edition.

I wouldn't expect it. Neither of them are published by WotC.
