Yes, you can buy content piecemeal from all D&D sourcebooks here.
Go to the Marketplace, select Monsters of the Multiverse. Scroll down and you'll see a whole menu to buy individual races and monsters.
Also, if for some reason you eventually decide to buy Monsters of the Multiverse, the book will credit your Kenku purchase in the marketplace pricing of the book.

you purchase subclasses, which in the case of artificer gives you access to the base class. (all the other base classes are free, as they are part of the SRD/Basic rules). You can purchase them from the page for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything in the marketplace. Armorer, Artillerist, Battlesmith, and Alchemist are the artificer subclasses.
Not piecemeal. Most likely because Costa are higher due to third party involvement, so they insist on the whole book being bought. Sales don't seem to effect prices on the app, nor do you get the discount for previously bought content (eg I bought the Subclasses fron XGtE, but it's still coming through full price on the app, whereas it's discounted on the website).
Generally, it's just better to do it through the website - although it can be cheaper on the app sometimes.

My recommendation is to never purchase through the app. If there’s ever problem you have to take it up with the App Store, the app is an offline resource that doesn’t sync in real time, so it might be an entire day before you know there’s any issue, and it doesn’t register the purchase on your online list of licenses so it’s harder to prove you purchased something without jumping through a week (or more) of hoops with customer service.
No Longer. I asked that question to them directly. I figured they did what they did.
"Greetings,
We appreciate you providing that information. Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns about the new D&D Beyond Marketplace to our attention. As of April 30th, 2024, the D&D Beyond Marketplace has removed the ability to make individual purchases within a sourcebook. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause."
I'm trying to buy Kender as a playable race. I clicked on the book Shadow of the Dragon Queen in the Marketplace and the only option I'm seeing is to purchase the book in digital or physical format. I scroll down and don't see any other options. All I see when I scroll down are Product Details, Product Specifications, and other book recommendations. What am I missing?

Unfortunately: WOTC and DnD Beyond have taken away the option to buy any race/class/subclass/etc. individually. You're now going to have to buy the entire book containing anything you want; in the case of the Kender; that would be the Dragonlance book in its entirety.

im sure you could homebrew your home kender race if thats all you want
I bought Mordenkainen's Monster's of The Multiverse but none of the races show up in my character builder. Is there something I need to do to use them?
Quick fix: make sure on the rules allowed, you have "Expanded Rules" toggle on - I'm sure that's new, but if it's off, it would probably block MotM.
After that, go to your account and synch your entitlements. Sometimes it takes a while to register.
How did you buy it? If it's through the app, it can take over a week for it to process and go through. The website is virtually immediate.

Is it possible to just buy the Kenku race from the Monsters of the Universe book and it will then link to the Character Builder?

Yup. All races are individually purchaseable. In the marketplace, click on the book title instead of adding it to your cart, and scroll waaaay down.

Thank you both
I have done this, buying a race but I dont know how I then see that information? Can anyone help?
Go to the races page (under Game Rules in the megamenu), click on the race in question, and you should be able to read about it.

From which books did you buy them? Did you buy the races or the monsters?

Is there a way to do this from the app?
You don't seem to be able to buy stuff piecemeal in the app, though I might have missed it.
Also, buying through the app is much slower to process and has more common problems due to having to go through the app stores.
