I know that the unearthed arcana content will go away at some point if they aren't added into a released 5e book (side question, how long does UA content have before it's removed).
My main question, is will Critical Role content be here to stay or does it have a time limit or does the contract teaming up with Critical Role expire at some point, or is it a permanent addition to D&D Beyond?
I am following this thread, as I am interested in Taldorei Feats etc...I did a search for Cruel feat and wondered if anyone has made it? I would like advice on if it is ok to make the feats in homebrew. Or is that a dumb question?
You can make any content you like in homebrew and use it in your own private campaigns!
Please don't submit homebrew to the community though if it doesn't belong to you.
Any critical role content that is submitted as public homebrew will be rejected.
In another thread, someone hinted at the possibility that the Taldorei book might be offered on DnD Beyond eventually. Is there any truth to this?
based on previous streams the answer is they would like to but they have to sort all the legal stuff between them, Mercer and Green Ronin. Maybe Wizards too?

Unearthed Content goes away if it isn't put into an official sourcebook. That's why Artificery, Mystic, No-Spell Ranger, among others are not on D&D Beyond. I don't know how long each article has to make it into an official book however. Maybe a moderator can explain how that works.
I don't believe there's really a cut-off that's set in stone, I kind of assume that the DDB policy of "only 2018 and onward" is just to have a cut-off so they don't have playtest material and official material jockeying for attention.
This is an assumption on my part, but I gather that the process is more or less without a timeframe as they don't even know for certain if the playtest material will do what they want or be accepted. While they probably already know the end product that would include the official material from the playtest, delays and hiccups could easily throw wrenches into set timeframes. Rather it's that, regardless of the timeframe, the UA is produced with particular books in mind to include them if and when they get approved.

Not sure, though it seems likely it will stay, given the Taldorei Campaign Guide existing, among other things.
We've no indication of there being an expiry date on Critical Role content.

Anyone know where I can find the gunslinger class? Is it available for critters yet?
In the character builder make sure you have critical role content turned on. It is a fighter subclass so it will be available at level 3.

I talked to Matt at the Calgary Otofest, they are working on it but there is a lot of legal red tape
Wait Unearth Arcana stuff will go away?
