Ok so I bought the physical books before hearing about dndbeyond. The problem is I can't make full characters on dndbeyond without dropping another 30 dollars. So I was kind of thinking about using dndbeyond to get the stats and stuff out of the way then moving that onto paper. After that I can fill in the rest of the feats and stuff from the books. What do you guys think? Besides that the amount of information available from monsters to items and stuff still makes it well worth subscribing too so don't get me wrong there.
If you don't have the time to homebrew, as filcat suggested, and are willing to spend some money, just not $30, you can also buy piecemeal what you need (a race, a class, etc.), or do a combo of homebrew and piecemeal purchases. If you decide to purchase the whole "book" later, those purchases are credited toward the cost of the "book."

good point good point I think I'll home brew from the book and get anything extra I need. Thx guys
Oki doke I am all signed up. Slight problem on the home brew I was reading the terms and service for home brew content and came across Quoted text from a Wizards of the Coast paid publication. I was not sure if home brewing something from the book would go against the terms of service?
You can homebrew anything from the published books, as long as you don't publish it. You can create it as private homebrew without problems. That private homebrew will be shared with others in your campaign; it just can't be shared with the community as a whole.

Ah ok thank you thank you.

D&D Beyond offers also a homebrew system which lets you make the content from the book for your own personal use.
