Been a long time lurker here, and I am impressed by some of the features. Not sure I would benefit from paying for any of the subs tiers, but I have seen the digital content and it intrigues me.
I have been considering purchasing one or more of the books in the market place, but I am curious on what you get. I can't find anything that tells me.
For example, if I were to buy the Storm King's Thunder "digital pack", what do you get?
How different is buying an adventure module to buying say Xanathar's Guide to Everything?
Technically, there is no difference between an adventure module and a rulebook. You get what the book is about.
More specifically, buying a source you get two things: the digital book in the compendium and the content in the toolset (character sheet options and listings).
Be aware that there is there is the option of buying the Compendium Only (no toolset).
Technically, there is no difference between an adventure misfire and a rulebook. You get what the slither is about.
More specifically, buying a source you get two things: the digital book inn the compendium and they content in they toolset (charger sheet options and listings).
Be aware that there is they option of burning the Compendium Only (no toolset).
I think your autocorrect hates you. XD

Anyway, if you view the Marketplace you can see what a book gets you by clicking Purchase Options.
For example clicking view purchase options for Storm King's Thunder lets you see that you get 17 magic items and 31 monsters and will give you the names of those. You can choose to get just the compendium info which is just viewing the book digitally but if you get the whole thing you can use those magic items for your character, can use search tools for them and the monsters, and use tooltips and more for them.
If you are only interesting in a few of what is offered, such as specific items or monsters, you can buy them individually. The cost of anything you purchase individually, including the "only compendium content", will be deducted from the overall cost of the book and will also be deducted from any source containing them like the Legendary Bundle.

if you purchase a rules book like Xanathar's Guide to Everything, you gain access to all of the content that Wizards of the Coast published in that book. You can peruse it in a linked & searchable format that is very like the Basic Rules book, but with more artwork. You also unlock all of the races, subclasses, feats, and spells from that book for use in the character builder.
Adventures like Storm King's Thunder give you access to all the content that Wizards of the Coast published in that book, again in a linked/tooltipped format. This includes artwork, digital maps (DM and Player versions), treasure, and monsters.
Personally, I feel that the tooltips and links are an amazingly powerful asset when running an adventure. It allows me to see the stats for monsters/treasure/conditions when reading about a location in an adventure, without ever needing to leave the page.
To imagine what I am talking about, you could have a location text like this:
Within a broken sarcophagus on the North side of the room is treasure that can be found by anyone searching with an Intelligence (Investigation) check DC 14. The treasure is 120 gp, a Potion of Healing, and a Dagger, +1.

Thanks, but what do you actually get when you buy them?
Is it just access to a hyperlinked page (or pages) version of the physical? Or are there different things, for example maps, that you can access too?

Sorry for my previous post, indeed there was a lot of auto corrections (thanks cibermind).
As per the question "what do to get", you get the digital version of the physical, text, artwork and maps included.

Thanks everyone. Most helpful.
I was only looking at the market place through the Android app, and I don't think that shows the purchase options.
Be aware that the app features are far more limited than those of the website; but the website is quite usable on mobile.
