I am not sure if this is an actual suggestion or not, but I think it would be cool if there was an r/dndbeyond subreddit.
I know we have the forums here but it would be awesome if we had a place on reddit too, where we could just share all our random D&D stuff that cant or shouldn't fit into the DDB forums. By which I mean, we could have the DDB forums for official help and support, stories and lore and stuff about official content and then r/dndbeyond as a sort of social place (with the attached Reddit chat room) as a place to hangout with each other, look for players, DMs and such - post all our random sketches of our D&D worlds or characters and just be social.
So literally, the DDB forums could be officially moderated by the DDB staff and moderators and the r/dndbeyond subreddit, could be like a community place that is managed by DDB staff but moderated by community volunteers.
Not sure if these is classed as a suggestion but I think it would be cool

Outside of the PBP section, there's hardly enough traffic to justify even these forums. Subdividing and diverting any more attention away from here would make things worse.

Was just an idea that I had because I like Reddit and was going to subscribe to r/dndbeyond and realised there wasn't one LOL.
Apart from that though, having a place where all the general social chatter can go would help clear up the official DDB forums for actual discussions about official content.
as an example:
A random "what do you think of my character" or "help me optimise my characters stats" - could go on Reddit.
A question about the lore of specific aspects of official wizards content, such as "How can I adapt AD&D (2e) Mystra to my 5e based world" - could go on the official forums as that relates to official wizards content and the adaption of its associated lore.
I just think this would make it easier to find, ask about and get help with official content or help with DDB specifically, while still providing a place for all those people who just want to be social, chat and share their creations.

We have sub-forums for both of those topics though that don't interfere with the discussions in other sub-forums about official content. In fact, there a multiple official content sub-forums here as well so that you can narrow down your specific needs as well if you want.

I use reddit a lot as well, but I feel that MetaMongoose is correct - dividing users across additional platforms just makes it more difficult to connect rather than easier.
It's also worth noting that the moderators here are community volunteers. :)

We already have forums for your suggestions.
"What do you think of my character?" and "help me optimise my character stats" can both go into Tips & Tricks, for example.
And if none of the forums fit there is General Discussion - a forum specifically for discussion about D&D Beyond and D&D in general that doesn't fit elsewhere.
There is also 3 different forums for discussing things that have nothing to do with D&D Beyond or D&D.
So, given that we have forums for anythng you could want to discuss and Reddit as a site is less efficient and fugly as all hell, I don't see any reason at all why there would need to be a subreddit.
Thanks for bringing up those points. I guess I wasn't thinking that some people might struggle with Reddit, since I am.used to it.
That being said; I do find it easier to type and format posts for the DDB forums while on a mobile device, compared to how Reddit forces you to use markdown because their mobile app is not so good to posting and their mobile site sucks.
Then keeping everything in-house makes it easier to moderate too.
So I can definitely see what you all are saying.
