So I’m going to be joining a campaign that a few of my friends have already started. They’ve played a few sessions already and I was wondering what Class I should play. There’s already a Vengeance Paladin, a Hexblade Warlock, and a Knowledge Cleric. What would be a good Class for this party setup?
Id say monk or rogue. It seems like they could benefit from a good dex based warrior of some kind who doesn't rely on spell slots. I think I would go rogue in this situation if I was in your shoes.
I agree with the rogue suggestion. Not so much for the skill monkey role. Knowledge cleric can handle any skill needed in a pinch with their channel divinity. Just because they don’t have a good stealth guy (maybe the warlock is stealthy, but...not rogue stealthy). I kind of like swashbuckler for you. Gives you that bard-like flair to add some personality to the party.
A Bard. Hexblades are basically combatants. They don’t have enough slots to do any support/utility casting. Bards have enough slots and a broad enough selection to fill the roll, and are just as good at skill monkey stuff as anything going and almost as stealthy as a Rogue. And they can supplement the non-life cleric for healing when the Paladin can’t. Between Vengeance and Hexblade you won’t need the Rogue’s Sneak Attack, but the Bard’s Song of Rest and Inspiration could be clutch in a pinch.
Honestly you could do whatever you wanted. You have a tanky type, a damagey type, and a healy type. You could make literally anything work. They only thing you're really missing is a skill/stealthy type. Your cleric can handle some of the skills side of things and your warlock could take invisibility and handle the stealthy side. Your party really has everything it needs. Just pick whatever you want.
That said...
Is your warlock more melee oriented? If so, I like a glamour or lore Bard. Or a ranged rogue like a scout.
Is your warlock more caster oriented? If so, I like a rogue. Really any subclass would work but I like inquisitive.
I also like Artificer or to a slightly less degree wizard.
I'd second TransmorpherDDS. Monk or Rogue (possibly Bard, yet your party already has two Charisma casters....), as it gives you some utility options. Your party already has a tank, healing, good damage and is quite heavy on the Spellcasting front, so a high Dexterity scouting/ general utility option would be nice.
Another option is Wizard, because the sheer number of spells it has access to makes it a fantastic utility class.
Artificer is good, as its 'Flash of Genius' stacks well with the Paladin's 'Aura of Protection', a great dragon slayer/mage slayer combo.

I think the party could use a utility, skill, or support based class. Rogue or monk could work. Artificer, bard, or wizard would be good too.
You could go full skill monkey: rogue/bard. Or my new favorite gish: the Artifizard.
I could give more details upon request.
